How to use a Bing Lee discount code
- Get a valid code: Click on any of the tested deals here to get the code and/or deal details.

More ways to save at Bing Lee (without needing a discount code)
Bing Lee has a lot more promotions that don’t need codes, so if you’re hunting for the biggest bargain you can find, here are our hot tips:
- Subscribe for marketing updates: Bing Lee offers $20 off your next purchase when you subscribe to get marketing communication (i.e. newsletters) and enter the code at the checkout.
- Check out the promotions section: There’s often hidden gold here. For example, we found deals that could save you up to $1000, as well as bonus offers where you could get a gift card, 5-year warranty or a wine pack valued at up to $750 for specific brand or product purchases.
- Search clearance items: You can filter the clearance section based on what you’re looking for. But one thing we noticed was that not all items list the previous price. So it might be worth checking the price of products elsewhere to make sure you’re really getting a discount.
- Binger Deals: Bing Lee changes these weekly, and some of the discounts can save you hundreds of dollars. For example, when we checked you could save $600 on this 65 inch TV from LG.
- Sales: Bing Lee gets in on the action for major sales events like Black Friday, Boxing Day and EOFY (aka Bing Lee’s “Yenda Financial Year Sale”).
Bing Lee FAQs: Discounts and other deals
Bing Lee offers a $20 discount code on your first order after subscribing for marketing updates. According to the fine print, you need to spend at least $199 and can’t use it on Apple or Dyson products. Proforma brands – including Fisher & Paykel, Miele and Smeg – are also excluded.
Good news if you’re studying: you can get $25 off Bing Lee orders over $199 when you’re shopping online through UNiDAYS. And yes, you can use it for more than one order.
Just keep in mind there are some T&Cs – two big ones I spotted were that it’s not offered on Apple or Proforma brand products and you can’t use any other discount code. But actually, it’s still one of the better student offers I’ve seen, especially considering how quickly the cost of new tech can add up.
If you’ve seen something at another store but want to buy it through Bing Lee, their price-matching service gives you a way to do just that and get the cheaper price.
This could be handy if you already have stuff in your cart on Bing Lee (potentially saving you paying for shipping twice). But you do need to show proof of the lower price for an item stocked at Bing Lee. And the other store has to have at least two brick-and-mortar stores in Australia – so there goes any Amazon, Kogan or Appliances Online deals.
FAQs about delivery and returns
Sometimes Bing Lee might have a promotion for free delivery. For example, when we were reading through the promotional terms and conditions, we spotted a free delivery offer for selected home appliances and TVs in Queensland and Victoria.
But apart from that, most Bing Lee orders have a delivery fee that’s calculated at the checkout based on item size, delivery type and location.
Bing Lee offers five main ways for you to get your products:
Standard: Door-to-door service for most products
Next day: If you’re in a metro area, you’ll see this as an option at the checkout for select in-stock items when you order by 6pm on weekdays
Delivery and Removal: This service is handy if you need to replace an appliance, with the delivery team bringing the new one and taking the old one (but it does need to be clean, dry, disconnected and not bigger than the new appliance)
Premium: Offers unboxing and basic setup for eligible appliances
Click and collect: It’s free to pick up your items from a Bing Lee store, and some will be ready in as little as an hour
Bing Lee has a 14-day return window for most items as long as they’re unopened, unused and in a sale-able condition. You just need to contact Bing Lee’s customer service team by calling 1300 609 228 or emailing customercare@binglee.com.au to start the return and get a tracking number.
Usually, you need to pay return shipping costs. But if you’re in NSW or the ACT, you could return it to a store yourself.

Who owns Bing Lee, and what’s their story?
As well as being an Australian, family-owned company Bing Lee’s story is the kind of Aussie family saga I love to read — full of grit, growth and a few plot twists.
Imagine the year is 1957, and we’re in the suburbs of western Sydney (Fairfield, to be exact). Back then, it was a hub for migrants and ex-servicemen, and Ware Street became the place to be for homeware, hardware, menswear and the like.
Here, Chinese immigrant Bing Lee and his son Ken transformed a humble electrical repair shop into the first Bing Lee store. Their focus was on deals that were inclusive and forward-thinking, and their timing couldn’t have been better, as demand for televisions and other household items was booming.
Bing went from an immigrant who had left war-torn China over a decade before, to a successful business owner with a legacy that continues today.
In 1987, following Bing’s death (then 79), Ken took over and literally became the face of the brand with the catchphrase “Come meet my team”. The company continued to grow, with stores in NSW, the ACT, Victoria and Queensland, and sponsorship history that includes the Western Bulldogs, The Amazing Race Australia and, currently the Sydney Swans AFLW.
Ken and his wife, Yenda (the namesake for their “The Yenda Financial Year Sale”), had two sons and the eldest, Lionel, was groomed to take over when Ken passed away. That happened in 2007 – the same year that the Bing Lee brand turned 50.
Fast-forward to today, and Bing Lee is still a family-run business with Ken as CEO and Yenda as Chair.
