How to add a Ruggable discount code
Ruggable makes it easy to add a valid code to your order at the checkout in just a few steps:
- Choose your discount: We’ve made it easy by testing every Ruggable code and offer before adding it here, so just click on one and you’ll get the code/offer details. We’ll also open a new window that takes you straight to the site.
- Choose your rug or mat: Browse Ruggable’s range of washable, designer and trending rugs, doormats, bath mats and more, then add your chosen style and size to cart.
- Add any extras: If you want a rug pad, matching doormat or anything else, you’ll find suggestions in your cart. When you’re ready, click through from there to the checkout.
- Add your code: Click on the order summary to expand it, paste or type your code in where it says ‘Discount code’, then click ‘Apply’ to update your order. You’ll see the discount reflected in your order total, and can finish buying your new rug.
Editor’s note: On a computer, you’ll find the place for your code on the right side, with no need to expand it. And If you’re on mobile and go through the rest of the checkout details first, you can also click where it says ‘Add Discount’ and enter your code before paying. Here’s how both options look on mobile:

Our top tips to fix common Ruggable promo code issues
As Woman’s Day Deals Editor, I’ve added more codes to online shopping orders than most people – and come across many issues and fixes along the way. With the whole Deals Team also testing codes, and verifying every one for Ruggable, I’ve put together this checklist when you’re adding a code:
- Add the code is exactly as it’s printed: Capitalisation matters because Ruggable codes are unique/case-sensitive. My added tip here is to copy and paste the code as an easy way to avoid typos.
- Check if there’s already a discount on your cart: Most Ruggable promo codes only apply to full-price rugs and can’t be used alongside any other promotion. Some discount codes also apply automatically – including the 10% new customer discount.
- Make sure you use the right email address: Some Ruggable discounts and codes are linked to your email address, including the first-order and trade discounts. So you need to enter the same email address at the checkout, or sign in, before the discount applies.
- Confirm the code is valid in Australia: During my research, I found a bunch of Ruggable discount codes that had expired in Australia, as well as some big 15-25% discount code offers for Ruggable in the US. These won’t work, so be sure to get codes from verified sources.
Remember: Woman’s Day independently tests every code and offer here to make this easy, and Ruggable Australia’s team can help if you’re unsure if a code is for an overseas store.
How to get a Ruggable discount on your first order
If you’re new to Ruggable, you’re in for a treat because you can save 10% on your first order by subscribing to the Ruggable newsletter. Just enter your email address on the Ruggable Australia site (either in the footer or the pop-up for 10% off), and you’ll be emailed the discount. The code is automatically applied at the checkout when you add full-price Ruggable pieces to cart, so it’s easy to use.
When I subscribed, it took about 10 minutes for the welcome email to land in my inbox. And to give you an idea of savings in dollars, I got an $118.90 discount on a 200x290cm Morris & Co Strawberry Thief rug when the discount code was added to my cart.

Your guide to Ruggable discount codes and offers with Woman’s Day
A beautiful rug can completely change a space – just look at room reveals on The Block, or how a red carpet sets the scene for events. Ruggable has gone further by creating machine washable rugs you can clean at home, with a huge range of designs and collaborations with Marimekko, Morris & Co, Star Wars and Disney’s Winnie the Pooh, among others. While a new rug can be an investment (I know from experience), that’s where the Woman’s Day Deals Team steps in to deliver you a regularly updated edit of Ruggable discount codes, promotions and offers – all tested to make sure they work.

More ways to save and get value with Ruggable
- Free shipping: Ruggable offers free shipping on all orders in Australia, with no minimum order value.
- Reviews: Ruggable offers customers 15% off their next order when they leave a review. If I was shopping for more than one rug, I’d actually consider buying one, reviewing it and then choosing the next one with the 15% discount code.
- Reusable rug pads: If you’ve already got one of Ruggable’s innovative two-piece rug systems, you can choose to just buy a new rug without adding a pad. That can knock a decent chunk off the price of your rug. For example, already having a rug pad saved $230 compared to a standard rug pad, and $420 compared to a cushioned rug pad when I checked for a range of 185x275cm rugs (including the best-selling Justina Blakeney Sonia Sand & Ocean rug).
- Trade Program: For designers, architects, artists, hoteliers, real estate agents and other eligible trade professionals, Ruggable offers 20% off orders of one or two items, and 25% off for three or more items. Registering also unlocks dedicated sale support.
- Sales: Wait for the major sales like Black Friday, Boxing Day and mid-year/EOFY deals, which have historically offered the widest range of discounts across the site. Think 20-30% off full price, and 40% or more off already reduced items – all discounts I’ve seen for recent Black Friday, Boxing Day and mid-year sales at Ruggable.
- Special offers: Check Ruggable’s offer section for the latest promotions. There was a buy-2-get-15% off discount offer last time I checked, for example. The Woman’s Day Deals Team also test and update our edit of Ruggable discount codes and offers, so you can check back here weekly for our pick of verified deals.
“If you’re shopping for more than one rug, or want a matching rug and doormat/runner etc, Ruggable actually gives you a way to save across two orders: first with the 10% discount code for new subscribers and then, after leaving a review, with 15% off the next order. With free shipping, splitting up an order like this is an easy way to maximise your savings.”

Ruggable FAQs
As someone who has bought a few rugs online, I know all too well how many questions can crop up. So here, I’ve brought you details and answers to some of the most common – and important – questions when shopping with Ruggable. From discount codes to delivery, returns and more, here’s what to know.
Does Ruggable ever have more than 20% off?
Yes, actually the Ruggable sale tab has discounts of up to 30%, even when there’s not a major sale. I’ve also seen discounts around 20-30% across the site during past Black Friday sale periods – last year you could get up to 30% off full-price and up to 40% off clearance for Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
But it’s also worth noting a smaller discount can translate to big savings when you’re buying something like a rug. The 10% discount code proved that for me, and I would have jumped at the chance of a 20% discount, which would have saved me $237.80 in that example. So any discount helps!
Is there a Ruggable code for 25% off?
Ruggable currently offers 25% off purchases of three or more items for Trade Program members in Australia. So this discount is only available to trade and hospitality professionals who register for the Trade Program using their business details.
As far as publicly available 25% discount code offers, there aren’t any for Ruggable Australia. But I did find 25% discount codes for the US website, such as WECARE25-A-38U4PK – this code was specific to customers in the US and doesn’t work in Australia (it’s actually also reached it’s limit in the US now).
Does Ruggable price match?
Ruggable mainly sells rugs through the Australian website, so there’s no price-matching policy. But if you buy a rug and it goes on sale within 7 days of that purchase, you can contact Ruggable to get request a price adjustment for your order.
What is Ruggable’s delivery policy?
Ruggable offers free delivery on all orders across Australia via FedEx standard shipping. This includes some shipping protection, and you can track your order after placing it to get accurate details of when it will arrive. As an idea, most in-stock and standard rugs I checked had shipping timeframes starting from 7-10 days.
Can I return my Ruggable rug for a refund?
Yes, Ruggable accepts returns within 30 days of delivery, including if the rug has signs of normal wear and tear in this time. Think a small amount of pet hair, dust or signs of washing. But there is a return processing fee of $15, $30 or $45 depending on the size of the rug (smaller rugs = lower fee). You also need to return rugs in the same or similar packaging, and any two-in-one rug and cover systems need to be returned together.
While this policy applies to most Ruggable rugs, it excludes Final Sale items (unless there’s a fault or other issue covered by Australian Consumer Law).
When will I get my refund?
Ruggable needs to inspect the returned rug before processing a refund, so allow 7-10 days from when the return is picked up. Your refund will be processed back to your original payment method, minus the $15-$45 processing fee. Also keep in mind that if you used a discount code, any amount you saved with it won’t be refunded (in other words, you only get refunded for your out-of-pocket cost).
How long do Ruggable rugs last?
Ruggable rugs don’t have a set lifespan, but based on my research and experience with rugs, when cared for they should last 2-5 years or more. The amount of people and pets in your home, how often you wash it in a machine and whether it’s outside or gets a lot of sun are some of the key factors that can affect a rug’s lifespan. But Ruggable has very detailed care guides, including how to wash your rug in a machine and spot-clean smaller stains. So following these guides helps extend the life of Ruggable rugs.
What are the downsides of washable rugs?
Washable rugs are designed to make it easier to keep your rug, and home, clean but one potential downside is whether or not the rug will actually fit in your home’s washing machine. If you have a compact, 6kg washer, for example, you’d be able to wash a Ruggable rug with dimensions up to 90x150cm. And while Ruggable sells rugs up to 305x425cm in size, the largest you could fit in a home washing machine is 185x275cm – any bigger and you’d need to take it to a laundromat or commercial cleaner.
Ruggable has a washing machine guide you can use to check these details. I also think it’s worth asking them, or the customer service team for your washer, about the weight and size requirements.
Drying your rug is another factor to keep in mind. Home dryers typically have lower weight capacities than equivalent washers, and rugs will often hold moisture. So I’d be prepared to hang my washed rug out to dry or take it to a laundromat that has a large enough commercial dryer.
But still, being able to wash your rugs at home (or on your terms) gives you a way to potentially save on commercial carpet cleaning fees. Especially if your home gets a lot of foot traffic.
Is Ruggable worth the money? Here’s my take as a Deals Editor?
In my 17+ years as a journalist covering lifestyle and personal finance, I’ve written a lot of articles about homes and interviewed a lot of stylists. I also really enjoy watching shows like The Block, Selling Houses Australia and Grand Designs (my personal fave), browsing real estate listings and peeking inside celebrity homes (including Buddy and Jesinta Franklin’s, Sonia Kruger’s and J.Lo’s). And if there’s one thing I’ve learned from all this, it’s to never underestimate the impact of a well-chosen rug.
While it can be easy to focus on more flashy elements, designers have consistently told me investing in a rug is an easy way to transform a space. In fact, a rug was the first thing I bought when I moved into my home – so I do know they’re not cheap when you want to fill a room. But they are completely worth it. Ruggable has also made it even easier to buy and maintain your rug, with free shipping and machine washing options that mean you don’t need to spend time paying a commercial carpet cleaner. Or buying a carpet cleaner and then trying to find space to store it.
While Ruggable is known for its two-in-one rug and pad system, the brand has launched an all-in-one option that means you can ditch the pad/underlay without worrying the rug will slide everywhere. They’re a bit more expensive, but I’d personally prefer that – and for anyone that’s more focused on price, the flatwoven, two-piece systems are still available.
When considering value, I’d say a washable rug is more worth it for homes with pets and lots of foot traffic. If you’re in a smaller household and regularly clean, you might prefer to spot-clean and choose a different rug. But I’d still check out Ruggable (I’m obsessed with the William Morris designs). And if you do decide it’s worth it, here you’ll always find the latest Woman’s Day pick of Ruggable discount codes, promotions and other offers, tested and ready for you to save.
