Is there a promo code for Luxury Escapes Australia on Reddit?
There’s not currently a verified promo code for Luxury Escapes on Reddit, although members there do sometimes share deals. But keep in mind that some codes may not work, and things like referral codes can become void if they’re widely shared on forums like Reddit.
In some cases Luxury Escapes may even penalise members for sharing codes on forums including Reddit. Travel is one of my favourite things and I’ve used just about every booking method available, as well as every strategy to save. But reward member programs are an area of expertise for me, having covered frequent flyer, travel and retail loyalty schemes for over 17 years as a lifestyle and personal finance journalist. Luxury Escapes stands out to me because it offers not one, but two loyalty programs: the free Société rewards program and paid membership program LuxPlus.
Both programs unlock Luxury Escapes perks and a huge amount of extra value, so let’s take a closer look.
Société
When you create an account with Luxury Escapes, you’re automatically enrolled in the free Société rewards program. This gives you a way to earn points on Luxury Escapes bookings and other activities, which you can then redeem for discounts on future bookings once you have at least 1000 points.

Luxury Escapes’ paid membership program costs $249 per year and unlocks discounts on eligible Luxury Escapes bookings, including for hotels, cruises, flights and packages. Members also get bonus inclusions on select hotels, early access and hidden offers, exclusive partner offers and more.
But LuxPlus pricing is the highlight of this program, with big discounts compared to the prices paid by everyone else. For example, I recently saw LuxPlus deals offering savings between $100 and $250 for stays and packages around the world. These LuxPlus member prices are actually highlighted for each offer or deal on Luxury Escapes. So you’ll see the discounts compared to regular pricing.
Is Luxury Escapes LuxPlus membership worth it? Here’s my take as a Deals Editor
If you book with Luxury Escapes a few times per year, the savings you get from LuxPlus pricing could be enough to justify the $249 annual fee. Here’s a side-by-side comparison of prices for Luxury Escapes promotions I’ve recently looked at:

These three examples offer a total of $550 in savings compared to non-LuxPlus prices. And that’s before factoring in the other perks of the program. So with a few stays a year – even just a few nights – the value could quickly add up.
It is worth noting that there is typically $500 joining fee in for new members, which is currently waived for a limited time if you join when making a booking. I probably wouldn’t join if I had to pay that fee, but more frequent travellers may find it’s still worth it. In fact, Luxury Escapes data shows the most active LuxPlus members save over $836 per year.

Can I purchase a voucher for Luxury Escapes?
You can buy vouchers or gift cards for Luxury Escapes directly through the website, as well as from retailers including Woolworths, Coles and Big W. But keep in mind that you can only pay up to a maximum of $1500 per booking when you have a gift card not bought directly with Luxury Escapes.
How can I pay on Luxury Escapes?
Luxury Escapes accepts American Express, Mastercard and Visa credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Klarna. You can also use gift cards, promo codes, vouchers, Société reward points and Velocity Points.
Some bookings may also offer a ‘pay at property’ option, or a deposit before paying the full amount later.
Do I need to choose my dates for a Luxury Escapes deal?

What is Luxury Escapes’ refund and cancellation policy?
Luxury Escapes’ refund rules depend on the booking type, so it’s a good idea to check the fine print for an offer – or contact Luxury Escapes or the operator directly.
In general, refunds are only guaranteed if the Luxury Escape offer terms and conditions allow it, a supplier goes out of business or the law requires it. Luxury Escapes’ policy also doesn’t cover airlines and cruises, so you need to check with them directly.
Here’s a rundown of the key details for different types of bookings.
- Limited Time Lux Exclusive (most hotel deals): A “7-day change of mind” guarantee gives a full refund if you cancel within 7 days of purchase and at least 14 days before check-in. One date change is allowed, at least 21 days out.
- Tours: No change-of-mind guarantee and any deposits and payments are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, cancelling for credit is available at Luxury Escapes’ discretion but attracts a $300 fee per person.
- Cruises: Refer to the the cruise operator’s policy. In some cases, Luxury Escapes may also charge service fees of $50 per person for amendments, and a $100-per-person cancellation fee after final payment.
- Experiences: Refer to the experience provider’s own terms for cancellation and no-shows.
- Flights: Not covered by Luxury Escapes, even when booked as part of a package. You can contact the airline operator to discuss your cancellation or refund options.
