But Fantastic Furniture is a brand that I’ve personally found delivers on style, practicality and affordability, and I’m not alone. What to do if your Fantastic Furniture discount code’s not working
While a code not working is annoying, sometimes there’s an easy fix. So for Fantastic Furniture, here’s how to trouble-shoot a code that’s not working based on common issues.
- Check that you’ve typed or copied the code exactly as it’s written. Some codes are case-sensitive, while if you’re manually copying a code you might accidentally miss one or two characters (I did this the other day – we’re only human, right?!).
- Confirm that your cart total meets the spending requirement: Promo codes often have a minimum spend, for example 10% off when you spend $100. If your cart total is less than that, the code won’t work even when it’s active.
- Make sure you have full-price items in your cart: Most Fantastic Furniture discount codes are only available on items that aren’t discounted or part of another promotion. The only exception would be if a code said otherwise (but that’s rare based on my analysis of the promo terms and conditions).
- Check that what you’re buying is part of the promotion: Fantastic Furniture often has codes that apply to select items and categories. For example, the now expired code SAVE20OFFICE was available for 20% off selected office furniture, which wouldn’t work on something like a sofa.
- Only get codes from verified sources: If I had a dollar for every expired discount code I found, I’d be a millionaire. To save time, choose a trusted source for your codes – for example, the Woman’s Day Deals Team test each code regularly to make sure they’re working.
- Contact Fantastic Furniture: If you’re still having trouble, use Fantastic Furniture’s online chat or contact them through the Help page before placing your order.
What if the Fantastic Furniture coupon code field is missing at checkout?
There are a couple of reasons the coupon/promo code field might not be visible or easy to find.
For starters, if you’re on a computer the promo code field is in a different spot: you’ll find it after the checkout button on the right-hand side of the screen and need to click where it says ‘Promo code’ to reveal the actual field (this part is similar on mobile).
The checkout and promo code field may also be different/unavailable if you’re shopping through Fantastic For Business. If that’s the case, you can contact the commercial team on 02 9914 3170.
Lastly, in some cases, there may be a website issue or intentional change that has removed the discount code field. I’ve never seen this on Fantastic Furniture, but have come across it on a few other websites in the past few years.

I’ve shopped at Fantastic Furniture for 12 years – here are my top tips to save
I bought my first dining table and chairs from Fantastic Furniture in 2014 and have gone straight to the site any time I’m shopping for new furniture and homewares. From my experience as a loyal Fantastic Furniture shopper, I’ve put together a list of ways to get more value.
- Shop the sale section: Fantastic Furniture usually offers the biggest discounts for major sales including EOFY, Black Friday and Boxing Day. But there’s also a sale section where you can find discounts and deals throughout the year. I often head straight here and use the filters to browse for what I want.
- Check the Online Exclusives: As Shopping Editor Chanelle Mansour told me, these are the pieces she often turns to when looking for a particular aesthetic at a great price. You’ll find Online Exclusives sections across each category and there’s also a sale section for Online Exclusives.
- Sign up to the newsletter: Stay up-to-date with Fantastic Furniture sales, offers and news and you’ll also go in the draw to win a $250 gift card to spend with the store.
- Share your Fantastic Furniture pieces: If you’ve bought something from Fantastic Furniture, sharing it on the website or Instagram and tagging Fantastic Furniture gives you a chance to win a $250 gift card.
- Click and collect: It’s free to pick up your order from a Fantastic Furniture store, which gives you a way to save on the usual delivery fees – as long as you have a ute, trailer or other vehicle big enough for what you’ve bought. My tip is to check measurements first – I learned this the hard way after trying to fit a tallboy in my compact hatchback a couple of years ago!
Fantastic Furniture package deals vs. individual discount codes – which is better?
Fantastic Furniture packages are available year-round and make it easy to furnish a whole room or multiple spaces in a single style that creates a sense of flow and harmony. So they’re usually better if you need a lot of furniture and there’s no valid discount code.
But there are times when discount code may save you more – if it’s also availble for the furniture you want to buy. As an example, I calculated the dollar and percentage savings you could currently get with the Torkay Package by looking at the cost of each individual piece vs the package.

In this case, the package doesn’t save much compared to buying the pieces separately. In comparison, if you had a discount code of 10% and bought all the items separately, you could save $221.10 on the total, or $219.90 on the package price.
Is it cheaper to buy Fantastic Furniture packages or individual pieces?
It’s not always cheaper to buy a package at Fantastic Furniture: If there’s a sale and items in the package are individually discounted, it may be cheaper to add all the furniture to cart separately.
For example, the Retro Queen Oak Bedroom Package, has a bed frame, two side tables and a chest of drawers for $1499. But when I was writing this article, the side tables and chest of drawers were both on sale – and it was $251 cheaper to add each piece of furniture to cart rather than get the package.

Does Fantastic Furniture have a 10% discount for your first order?
Unfortunately, Fantastic Furniture doesn’t currently have a first-order discount code offer. But you can go in the draw to win a $250 gift card by signing up to the newsletter.

Is there a Fantastic Furniture pensioner discount?
No, Fantastic Furniture doesn’t offer a discount specifically for seniors or pensioners, but you can still use any of the offers we’ve tested here to save.
You could also check if any of your other memberships give you access to discounted gift cards for Fantastic Furniture or discounts with any other stores. For example, the NSW government website has a list of places where people with NSW Seniors Cards can save, which includes some furniture stores (but not Fantastic Furniture).
Does Fantastic Furniture have a student discount?
Fantastic Furniture doesn’t currently have a discount code just for students, but has previously run student-specific promotions. For example, university students could get 10% off between December 29, 2025 and February 8, 2026. While that offer has expired, I’m expecting a similar ‘back-to-school’ style offer around the same time this year – and we’ll add details here when there is one.
Does Fantastic Furniture have a discount for nurses and essential workers?
There’s no dedicated discount for nurses or essential workers at Fantastic Furniture at the moment.
As well as the offers we’ve tested here, you could check if you have access to discounted Fantastic Furniture gift cards or other offers through your union or other memberships. For example, United Workers Union offers members 10% off Amart furniture gift cards and 5% off IKEA gift cards, accord to the website.
Is there a friend referral discount?
Fantastic Furniture doesn’t have a referral program at the moment, so you won’t get a discount for referring friends at this stage. But if a program is launched, we’ll let you know where.
Does Fantastic Furniture have a discount code for free shipping?
Fantastic Furniture may sometimes run promotions that offer discounted or free delivery. For example, I found one previous promotion where shoppers could get free local delivery for orders over $300 if they lived within a 30km radius of Fantastic Furniture. But that offer has well and truly expired now.
FAQs: Deliveries, returns and more
How much is Fantastic Furniture delivery?
Standard delivery in Australia starts from $89 for most items, which includes delivery to your door or a room in your home.
To give you an idea, I checked delivery fees for the Carlotta Sofa and was quoted $89 for addresses in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, and even for Newcastle and Port Macquarie. But there was a higher cost of $100 for delivery to Byron Bay.
Fantastic Furniture also offers delivery from $29 for smaller items to select metro areas.
For Online Exclusives, you’ll see an estimate after you enter your delivery details at the checkout – and sometimes it’s cheaper. For example, delivery to Sydney was only $55 for this 3-seater futon sofa bed and $30 for this chest of drawers.
You can check delivery fees on each product page by entering your postcode and clicking “Show stores, timeframes and fees”. Not all stores do this, but I wish they did because it’s really handy!
What to know about Fantastic Furniture returns
You can return Fantastic Furniture items within 30 days if they are undamaged, unused and in their original condition. While it’s free to return items to a store yourself, if you need to get it shipped back to them you’ll have to pay for the service.
There are also a few items excluded from this policy: mattresses, home appliances, pet products, Christmas stock, ex-floor stock and items sold ‘As Is’. These are all typical of furniture stores based on my experience writing about them and shopping. But I couldn’t find any trial period or separate return policy for mattresses, while many other stores offer this so you can return a mattress if it’s not right for you after sleeping on it. So I’d keep this in mind if you’re looking at a bed set from Fantastic Furniture.
What is the warranty on Fantastic Furniture?
Fantastic Furniture warranties range from 1-10 years depending on what you buy. The shortest 1-year warranty period is for home accessories, including rugs, lamps, wall art and mirrors. Most of the larger furniture I’ve looked at had 2-3 year warranties, although I have seen some sofas with 6-year warranties.
