How to add your discount code at The Wine Collective
The Wine Collective makes it easy to add a code at the checkout. Here’s how to do it, using our exclusive code as an example:
- Get an active code: Click ‘Get Code’ for the exclusive 10% discount code we have with The Wine Collective, or choose and click on any other tested offer here – Woman’s Day’s Deals Team has verified them all.
- Choose your bottles: We’ll open a new window that takes you straight to the website, where you can browse reds, whites, sparkling, premium and exclusive bottles. Add what you want to cart and when you’re ready click through to the checkout.
- Add your discount code: The Wine Collective checkout has a discount code field in the order summary, which you just need to click to expand on mobile (you skip this if you’re on a computer). Then, enter your code where it says ‘Discount code or gift card’ and click ‘Apply’. You’ll see the code added and the discount reflected in your order summary.
- Complete your order: As well as the usual delivery and payment details, you need to verify your ID and confirm you’re over 18. After that, you’re good to go.
To give you a clearer picture, I’ve taken screenshots at the checkout on my mobile phone before expanding the order summary, and after expanding and adding the code.

Top tips when adding a discount code on The Wine Collective
Adding a code is easy, but it’s worth keeping in mind that each discount and voucher code has its own requirements you need to meet to use it. So here, I’ve put together this handy list of tips you can check off at the checkout:
- Make sure the code is exactly as its printed: The Wine Collective discount codes will only be added when they’re entered correctly, without any extra spaces or characters in the promo code field. I find copying and pasting the code is the easiest way to avoid errors.
- Confirm your order value meets the requirements: While Woman’s Day’s exclusive 10% discount doesn’t have a minimum order value, some other discount codes for The Wine Collective do. The $20 first-order discount, for example, has a minimum spend of $150 – so it’s worth checking to avoid errors.
- Check if there’s a code already added: When it comes to discount codes, The Wine Collective only allows one per order. So if you’re lucky enough to have a couple, you could choose the one that offers the biggest discount OR the one that expires first, then save the other one for next time.
- Refer to previous orders for codes you’ve already used: I’ve noticed some of The Wine Collectives promotion codes have a limit of one use per customer. So if you’re a returning shopper and have a code that won’t apply, I’d check past orders in case you’ve used the same code before.
My Collective Rewards is a way to keep the savings flowing – here’s how

“The Wine Collective also offers 5000 bonus points when you sign up to My Collective Rewards – enough for a $10 discount. If you join before using our 10% discount code, you can also earn points on that order.”

How do I use My Collective Rewards points to get a discount?
It’s easy to redeem points at the checkout, as long as you have a minimum of 2500 points to get a $5 discount:
- Log in to your account on The Wine Collective.
- Add what you want to your cart.
- Go to checkout and you’ll see details of how many reward points you have to redeem. Enter the amount of points you want to use, click ‘Redeem’ and the discount will be added to your order.
You can also save up your points for larger discounts, such as 5000 points for $10 off, 10,000 points for $20 and so on up to a maximum of 100,000 points for $200 off.
Can I stack The Wine Collective reward points and discount codes?
I wondered about this too, but unfortunately the answer is no. You can’t redeem reward points and a discount code for the same order.
But you have 12 months from your last purchase to use most reward points (or 30 days for the bonus signup points). So you can save them up for a future order.

- Earn more rewards: You can boost your point balance to get discounts faster with successful friend referrals earning 10,000 points and reviews via email earning 1000 points. I’ve also seen limited-time bonus point promotions, with one recently offering 1000 bonus points on select products.

The Wine Collective FAQs
Have a question before you use your discount code? I get it – as someone who’s shopped for wine at vineyards, in bottle shops and online through specialists like The Wine Collective, I know finding all the details can be hard. So here, I’ve got answers for some of the most common questions about The Wine Collective.
When does The Wine Collective have sales?
The Wine Collective has a sale section on the site, where you can find year-round discounts and offers. But I’ve also seen some bigger discounts during major sale periods including Black Friday and EOFY. Last Black Friday, for example, The Wine Collective offered up to 80% off.
I also found an EOFY Sale Statement Pack offering 74% off the listed RRP ($1165 down to $297). So depending on the sale, you could save on individual bottles, promotional wine packs or both.
How does delivery work?
The Wine Collective orders are delivered through Australia Post’s network, and care is taken to make sure they arrive safely. You can give authority to leave, or request that the delivery be signed for as long as someone over 18 is available to accept the order.
Orders are typically sent from The Wine Collective’s Sydney warehouse within 1-3 business days. Depending on your location, allow 2-10 business days after that for delivery, with addresses closer to Sydney likely to get delivery faster.
You’ll also get tracking details after placing your order.
Delivery fees
Outside of the free delivery options ($299 for most people, $199 for Gold members), The Wine Collective charges delivery fees of $15.95 to $33.95 based on your order value and location.
You’ll see delivery details at the checkout. But to give you an idea, orders over $50 that don’t qualify for free delivery cost $15.95 for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, $17.95 for Adelaide and Perth and $19.95 for Hobart (and all of Tasmania).
For orders under $50, there are higher fees of $19.95 for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Adelaide, $22.95 for Perth and $24.95 for Tasmania.
Most regional areas have fees within these brackets, but delivery to WA country costs $28.95 to $33.95 depending on the order, with no free shipping offer.
Editor’s note: The Wine Collective doesn’t deliver to the Northern Territory, dry zones, Christmas Island, Cocos & Keeling Island or Lord Howe Island.
What happens if my order is damaged?
Australia Post typically notifies The Wine Collective if there’s an issue during transit and your order is damaged. The Wine Collective will then contact you to organise a replacement or refund. If you’ve already accepted the delivery, it’s your responsibility – so make sure you inspect the wine before signing for it.
What else does The Wine Collective sell?
The selection of wine available through The Wine Collective is impressive enough to keep both connoisseurs and casual drinkers happily browsing for as long as they want. But I also found some hidden gems in the Spirits section, including some beautiful Australian and imported gin, Scotch whisky, absinthe, limoncello and so much more.
The Wine Collective also has a gift section with ideas, gift packs of full-size bottles, and gift cards.
Is a wine gift card a good gift?
A wine gift card can be a thoughtful gift for someone who enjoys wine and prefers to choose it for themselves. It can also be a nice gift for the host of an upcoming event. With The Wine Collective gift cards, you can also choose the image for your digital gift card, and they’re valid for three years from the date of issue. But if you’re not sure someone will use a gift card in that time, you could either buy them something else, or offer to make choosing the wine together a part of the gift (I’ve done this before, and it was a nice way to make the gift card an experience).
What is The Wine Collective’s return policy?
With something like wine, choosing carefully to avoid returns is usually my first approach. But if you change your mind after ordering, you can contact The Wine Collective within 14 days of ordering and they can help with a return or exchange. Keep in mind you’ll need to pay for any applicable shipping fees.
The Wine Collective also accepts returns on 6- or 12-bottle cases of a single variety of wine if you have tried one bottle and don’t like the taste. You need to organise the return within 90 days, and will be issued with store credit in the form of My Collective Rewards points. You’ll then have 12-months to use these points to save on another order.
There’s one more reason I value The Wine Collective (beyond discount codes)
Early on in my journalism career, I had a 6-12 month stint writing about wine for a small, independent publication. I learned so much, including an appreciation for varieties of wine in all shades, strengths and styles. I’ve also written about grape growers – another aspect that makes me carefully consider which bottles I choose. What impresses me about The Wine Collective is their long history of supporting the Australian wine industry and community.
This independent, Australian business started in 1946 as The Wine Society, and works with over 400 winery and wine-making partners. It has its own tasting panel and exclusive bottles from all over the world. And, one of my favourite features, you can actually speak with a personal wine adviser at The Wine Collective before choosing what to buy. I love this for the times when reaching for the same varietal bottles doesn’t quite hit the spot. Or just to try something new, without tasting it first. But wherever your tastes take you, now you know Woman’s Day has active, tested discount codes for The Wine Collective whenever you want a new drop.
