Beauty faves, beautiful prices: The Sephora discount codes and deals worth your time
Sephora is one of our favourite places for all things beauty, with a vast range that still feels curated and plenty of exclusive brands you can’t shop anywhere else in Australia. It’s a destination where you’ll findsome of Meghan Markle’s favourite products alongside celebrity beauty brands including Rhinanna’s Fenty Beauty, Rita Ora’s TYPEBEA and Lady Gaga’s Haus Labs, as well as plenty of Sephora exclusives and other leading brands. And while some products can be a bit of an investment, there are plenty of opportunities to save with discount codes, sales, rewards and other promotions.
“I always try to hold out for a Sephora sale to get a discount. They only happen a few times a year, but the last one I shopped offered up to 20% off cult Sulwhasoo skincare and up to 50% off select beauty buys,” Woman’s Day Shopping Editor Chanelle Mansour tells me.
“If there’s no sale, I’ll check my Beauty Pass account for member perks or rewards I can redeem with my points.”
Beauty writer and Woman’s Day Shopping Content Producer Maddy Wilson actually describes Sephora as “one of my ride-or-die destinations”.
“With free shipping on orders over $25, plenty of perks for Beauty Pass members and an incredible line-up of brands, Sephora is genuinely a one-stop shop.”
Maddy Wilson, Woman’s Day Shopping Content Producer and beauty writer
I’ve been shopping at Sephora on-and-off for years, too. I actually first shopped at the store years before it launched in Australia when I was living in Canada, and still have some of the beauty tools from my first few store visits, which I take as proof of the quality.
But I have found that viral products can quickly sell out during a sale – which often sends me on a hunt for a discount code or other ways to save. If you’re in the same boat, here you’ll find Woman’s Day’s edit of Sephora discount codes and deals, all tested personally by us to make sure you can shop with them now.
How to use a Sephora discount code
It’s easy to add a code to your Sephora order on the site, but you need to do it in your cart rather than at the checkout. Here’s a step-by-step guide to add your code, with a screenshot from my last Sephora cart.
- Get a valid code: Every code and deal here is verified by the Woman’s Day team, so all you need to do is click on one to get the code and/or offer details.
- Shop on Sephora: We’ve made it easy by opening a new window that takes you straight to the site, so you can start adding your beauty faves, skincare, haircare and beauty tools to cart.
- Go to checkout: When you’re ready, click on your virtual bag to go to the cart.
- Add your code: Go to where it says ‘Promos’, enter the code in the field and click ‘Apply’ to update your order.

Editor’s tip: Log in to your account before you head to the checkout and Sephora will show you details of how many promos are linked to your account. Just check where it says “View All Promos” and if there’s a number there, you can click to view the offers and apply one if it’s relevant.
The Sephora beauty deals we’re shopping in 2026
There’s so much choice at Sephora that it’s sometimes hard to know where to start – let alone where the best discounts are. So here, we’ve picked out two products on sale right now, plus one that would be ideal to get with the 10% welcome discount code.
Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Satin Lipstick, Brazen Bordeaux
RRP $75 Now $52.50 (30% Off)

Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo Lightning Dust/Fire Crystal
RRP $63 Now $31.50 (50% Off)

Claudalie Beauty Elixir 100ml (only at Sephora)
RRP $90 (Or $81 with the 10% first order offer)

“Home to some of the best celebrity-founded beauty brands on the market (including Fenty Beauty and Haus Labs), Sephora is my one-stop shop for all things makeup, skincare and haircare – no matter your budget or routine. They stock a mix of both high-end and affordable options, so you’re covered for everything from well-thought-out splurges to those emergency moments when you’re clawing your way to payday but have just run out of mascara.”

More ways to save at Sephora
- First order offer: Create an account on Sephora and you’ll unlock a 10% discount code for your first order online.
- Download the app: Sephora currently offers a 10% discount on your first in-app purchase. I’d actually recommend getting the app anyway – I’ve found it a lot easier to see active offers linked to your account.
- Beauty Pass: When you create your account, you can also sign up to Sephora’s rewards program, Beauty Pass. You’ll earn points for your purchases and other activities, which you can redeem through a Rewards Boutique that has products you can redeem from 50 points up. You also get more benefits in higher membership tiers, which you can reach based on your spending at Sephora over a 12-month period.
- White tier ($0-$299 spend): Rewards Boutique point redemptions, Birthday 2x points, member-only promotions, Beauty Pass Sales, Birthday Gift.
- Black tier ($300-$1499 spend): All the benefits of White tier, plus a birthday brow service.
- Gold tier (over $1500): All the benefits of Black tier, plus a Welcome gift, Retention gift, Beauty Pass Sale early access, free express shipping and exclusive events and launches.
- Student discount: Sephora offers 10% off for students through UNiDAYS, so you need to create an account and verify your student status, then you can claim the discount.
- Sales: Sephora has sales throughout the year, including twice-yearly Beauty Pass Sales that can offer up to 20% to 50% off select products for members. It’s these sales Shopping Editor Chanelle Mansour swears by – for good reason. Depending on what you’re buying, these discounts could give you huge savings on your cart. We’ve also seen Sephora deals during other major sale periods, including EOFY, Black Friday and Boxing Day.
Sephora FAQs: Discounts, returns and more
Sephora sales often include 20% discounts on select products. For example, during EOFY sales season Shopping Editor Chanelle Mansour found 20% of cult skincare fave Sulwahsoo.
The easiest way to get a promo code is to sign up for a Sephora account and become a Beauty Pass member, which unlocks a web and app discount code for new customers. Downloading the app is also an easy way to keep track of promo codes and offers – just click on perks from your account to view them all in one place. Here’s a screenshot from my account in the app.
Sephora only allows one promo code per order but if you have multiple codes, you could use them over a few orders to maximise your savings.
Sephora offers standard free shipping in Australia for orders over $25 and free express shipping for orders over $75 and Gold Beauty Pass members. Otherwise, delivery for orders under $25 costs $6 for standard shipping and $16 for express shipping, with a lower express rate for orders over $25 and under $75.
Sephora accepts change of mind returns within 30 days and it’s free to return online orders through the portal. The items need to be unused, unopened and in their original packaging without any marks or damage. You can get a refund, credit or exchange for online orders returned by post, or return them to a Sephora store for a credit or exchange. If you shopped in-store, you can only return items to a store. Check out Sephora’s return policy for more information.
The mascara and beauty brand our writer swears by – even without a discount
If you’re wondering what’s worth buying at Sephora without a discount, you’re not alone. It’s a question we’ve been discussing in the group chat for a while now, and Shopping Content Producer and beauty writer Maddy Wilson has convinced me to try out vegan brand Hourglass.
“Every product I’ve used has been exceptional (and on high rotation in my makeup bag), and in my opinion, the brand is well worth the investment,” she says.

“My personal favourites are the Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara and the Veil Translucent Setting Powder, although I honestly can’t think of an Hourglass product I haven’t loved—so make of that what you will.”
Woman’s Day Shopping Content Producer Maddy Wilson has high praise for this Hourglass mascara, which is $58 full-price (but could drop to $51.04 if you’re a new customer and use the 12% first app order discount.)
Woman’s Day Senior Content Producer Charlotte Knoke also has a selection of go-to beauty and skincare products she’ll reach for at Sephora – ideally when there’s a code or discount, but sometimes even without one.
“My personal favourite products include The INKEY List’s Bio-Active Ceramide Repairing And Plumping Moisturiser which has become a non-negotiable in my routine for how it calms my dry, sensitive skin without ever feeling heavy,” she says.
“For a flush of colour, I reach for Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush in shade Hope – the tone is perfect against my fair, cool-toned skin and gives a natural-looking glow. And when my wallet’s feeling the pinch, The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 is my budget-friendly hero, delivering serious hydration for a fraction of the price of high-end serums.”
