- Free shipping: ASOS offers free standard shipping for orders over $120 in Australia, saving you $22.99 on the standard shipping fee that applies for orders less than that.
- ASOS Premier: This subscription offers free standard delivery with no minimum order and free express shipping on orders over $70, with a yearly cost of $50 to join. If you shop at ASOS a lot and often choose express delivery (or spend less than $120) it can work out cheaper to get this subscription than pay for shipping.
- Newsletter updates: Subscribe to the ASOS newsletter to get the latest codes and promotions in your inbox, including a birthday discount if you’re subscribed and have made a purchase with ASOS in the past 12 months.
- App promotions: ASOS often has app-only promotions and discount codes. For example, in April 2026, you could get 25% off as a new app customer by entering the discount code.
- Student discount: Students get 10% off at ASOS until graduation. You just need to register your student details with ASOS. Based on my research, you can get bigger discounts during student-specific promotions, too.
- Sales: ASOS has a sale section, plus subsections for different items, sizes, styles and more. I like to search by price, then filter by size so that I only see items that are the right fit for me and my budget. I’ve also found big discounts during major sales, including Black Friday and Singles Day. For example, last Black Friday ASOS offered up to 54% off women’s fashion, and Shopping Editor Chanelle Mansour reported a Singles Day offer for 15% off select styles in 2024.

Discount code FAQs
ASOS frequently has promo codes for discounts or other benefits like free shipping. When I was writing this article, I found one active discount code, two discount codes that had recently expired – plus the ongoing student discount code.
But it’s worth noting that because ASOS operates in different countries, some of the codes you find online may not work in Australia. I found a few that were specific to other countries during my research, and unfortunately they didn’t work for me on the Australian website. The ASOS terms and conditions also note each promo code has specific conditions, so it’s important to read and follow them to get the discount. The Woman’s Day Deals Team does all of this before adding discount codes here, so you can always check our edit for current, verified codes and deals.
Unfortunately, ASOS Australia doesn’t currently have a discount code for new customers. Earlier in 2026, you could get a 20% discount on your first order after signing up and opting into email marketing updates. But when I checked for this article, the code had expired. We’ll update this guide when a new deal is available, and you can still use any of the other ASOS discount codes and offers here in the meantime.
ASOS typically only allows one discount code per order. In fact, the terms and conditions note that this includes free shipping codes. So if you had a discount code and a free shipping code, you’d need to choose which one to use for an order.

ASOS offers free standard delivery for orders over $120 in Australia, and $22.99 for orders under this value. Express delivery is $40.
But for ASOS Premier members, standard delivery is free with no minimum spend, and express delivery is free for orders over $70.
ASOS offers 28 days from delivery for change of mind returns when they’re in their original condition. It’s easy to organise a return through your account, but there is an $8.99 return fee that’s deducted from the refund.

Why ASOS is my fashion iceberg
ASOS launched in Australian in 2011 and I remember the huge buzz around it at the time. With fast shipping options and a huge selection of brands both popular and hard to find elsewhere, plus originals, I can see the influence ASOS has had on Australia’s online shopping landscape over the past 15 or so years.
But if I’m being honest, I sometimes forget about just how good an online store it is – because a glance at the homepage is really just the tip of the iceberg with ASOS. Take the different size and style ranges for example – it has collections for curves, tall people, and a petite range that I find much more diverse than some others. It also has an impressive collection of face and body products, with brands including The Ordinary, Bondi Sands, COSRX and e.l.f. So if I’m ever a few bucks shy of free shipping, I know where to look for a few extra beauty goodies to add to cart.
