It’s easy to add a discount code to your Country Road order but take note: you need to add it before you go to the checkout. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it.

As well as verified offers, there are some always-on ways to get more benefits when you’re shopping with Country Road. Here are my go-to strategies when I’m focused on getting as much value for my dollars as I can.
Join the rewards program
New members of the Country Road rewards program get a 15% off welcome offer for full-price items, and a 20% off welcome offer for Trenery. Rewards program members also get exclusive access to ‘Spend & Save’ promotions – for example $10 off when you spend $100 or more on full-price items – as well as other member promotions and offers. Your yearly spending also counts towards your membership tier, with these benefits based on your tier:
- Members (spend $0 to under $300): First access to new collections, exclusive Spend & Save promotions, 30-day reward expiry, complimentary basic tailoring on full-price suits.
- Bronze members (spend over $300): All the Member benefits, and an increased $20 welcome reward, $20 birthday reward and increased 60-day reward expiry.
- Silver members (spend over $750): All lower tier benefits, with an increased $30 welcome reward, $30 birthday reward, early access to Spend & Save promotions and no minimum spend for free standard delivery.

Yes, Country Road offers a 15% discount on your first full-price order after joining the Rewards by Country Road and Trenery member program. It’s free to join, and you’ll get a code you can apply to your purchase.
When I signed up, the code was instantly displayed on the Country Road website (as well as being emailed to me). So I just copied it and added it to my virtual bag – I ended up saving $58.19 on my order of winter knits for me and my husband. (Another handy hint, check if anyone else in your household wants items from Country Road when you get a discount code, so you can all enjoy the savings).
No, reward program members at Country Road don’t earn points per $1 spent or for other activity. But members do get rewarded for their spending when they reach a higher tier and unlock further benefits like increased welcome rewards and birthday rewards. Plus other benefits including access to Spend & Save promotions, exclusive offers, tailoring on eligible purchases and free delivery offers depending on the tier. Country Road offers free standard shipping on orders over $100 in Australia, with no code needed. If you’re a Silver, VIP Gold or Platinum rewards member, you also get free standard shipping with no minimum spend – great if you just want a gift or spot a great sale bargain.

Shipping, returns and more
Standard delivery is free for online orders over $100 and for Silver or higher rewards members, with a flat fee of $9.95 in Australia outside of these offers. You may also pay a fee for delivery of third-party seller items. But when that’s the case, details will be listed at the checkout.
Country Road also offers same-day delivery to metro areas for $15 if you need your order sooner. Or there’s free click and collect from your nearest Country Road store (excluding items from third-party sellers).
Standard delivery from Country Road typically takes 3-5 business days, but you should allow up to two weeks for big and bulky items (like some homewares).
My most recent order was also a split delivery, and in those cases some items can arrive sooner than others. But the good thing is Country Road doesn’t charge extra if your order needs to be split. And all the details on each shipment are emailed to you.
Country Road offers change of mind returns within 30 days of the date of purchase. But if you want to return items by post, there is a fee of $9.95 that’s deducted from the refund. The actual online return process is easy, although I’d prefer to return items to a Country Road store to avoid fees (and potentially just exchange it if I need a different size or style).
I’ll always value Country Road pieces, but here’s one more way I avoid paying full price
The understated elegance of Country Road pieces give them a timeless quality that I love. Not only does it make Country Road clothes easy to style up or down depending on the occasion, but it also makes it easy to wear them on repeat over many seasons. But there’s another benefit to this: when Country Road discounts a style or it goes on sale, it’s still going to give that elevated feel of the brand without being full price. Enter my other strategy: I favourite items that I want but don’t necessarily need right now. Then, next time I’m shopping, I’ll check those favourites to see if any are on sale and still in my size. It’s become a handy way to avoid buying everything that catches my eye, while still keeping them in reserve. And on the few occasions when I’ve regretted not buying something I favourited before it sold out, I turn to marketplace and Depop, just in case it shows up there.
