- Add the code: Go to the order summary at the top of the screen, enter the code where it says ‘Promo code or Gift Card’ and click on the arrow button to apply it to your order. You’ll see details of the applied discount and can go through the rest of the checkout to complete your order.
Editor’s note: I noticed Forever New has the discount code field on each screen at the checkout on mobile, so you can add it at any stage before you finalise your payment.
Does Forever New offer 10% off the first order?
Yes, Forever New offers a 10% discount on your first full-price order after you join Forever You Rewards. It’s free to join and you can get started by entering your email address in the pop-up or fill in the sign-up form.
Other common terms and exclusions for Forever New coupon codes
- Single redemption: Forever New codes are often only redeemable once, so you won’t be able to use the code across multiple orders unless the terms and conditions explicity say you can.
- Restrictions for other discounts and promotional offers: You can only use one Forever New discount code per order. Some codes also won’t work if there’s another discount or promotional offer applied to the order, including the 10% welcome discount, and 10% student discount.
- Minimum order value: You may need to spend over a certain amount to redeem a Forever New discount code or offer. For example, the $25 Birthday Discount for members can only be used when you spend over $100 on full-price items.
- Code expiry: Forever New codes and discounts are typically only available for a limited time. For example, you can use the 10% welcome discount within 30 days.
- Exclusions: A Forever New discount code won’t apply to gift cards or shipping costs. Other exclusions depend on the code. For example, if it’s a code for full-price items then sale items will be excluded. And if it’s for an extra discount on sale items, full-price items may be excluded.
- Unique offers: Sometimes Forever New sends promo codes and offers to specific customers. So these offers can’t be shared, and you’ll usually need to login to use them.

Forever New doesn’t currently have a 20% discount code but in the past I’ve seen a code that offered a further 20% off at Forever New.
Forever New also offers a simple way for members to save 20% on full-price items through the ‘Choose Your Sale Date’ benefit. You unlock this perk when you’ve spent $200 with Forever New, and can choose any date of the year to get a 20% discount on a full-prince order.
Does Forever New have a student discount?
Yes, Forever New gives students a 10% discount on full-price items after they’ve verified their student status online. There was also an extra 20% off sale promotion just for students when I was writing this article, so if you are studying it’s worth keeping an eye out or checking back here for the latest deals and offers.
Can I use a Forever New discount code for sale items?
Forever New does have discount code promotions for sale items, giving you a way to save even more. For example, you could get an extra 30% off sale items with a code until September 5, 2026. I’ve also previously seen an extra 20% discount on sale items with a code. With these offers, make sure you remember to copy and apply the code at the checkout – I once got distracted by the sale price that I only remembered the code right before paying.
There are also Forever New discounts and promo codes that won’t work on sale items. For example, the 10% welcome offer is only available for full-price items.

What are Forever You Rewards points?
Forever You Rewards points are another way of tracking how close you are to reaching the 20% discount and $50 discount offers linked to your account, with every $1 spent earning 1 point. While the Forever You Rewards info page refers to points, I noticed the terms and conditions and the logged-in member page refer to your spending in dollars.
The only real value in tracking points is that some spending doesn’t count towards your discount offers. The key exclusions are gift cards and delivery costs, so if you spend a lot on these, points would be an easy way to track how close you are to these benefits. But if you’re mainly spending on clothes, accessories and other products, I’d just keep track of the dollars you spent.
More ways to save with Forever New
- Sales: Forever New has a dedicated sale section where you can find discounts throughout the year – I saw up to 70% off dresses last time I was browsing. But major sales like Black Friday, Boxing Day and Afterpay Day often have the biggest bargains. For example, last Black Friday, Forever New offered 30% off full price items. And you could get an extra 30% off sale items around the same time as Afterpay Day in August 2026 (although the sale wasn’t branded as that).
- Stockist promotions: Check for deals on Forever New at THE ICONIC, ASOS, Myer and David Jones, as these retailers stock a range of Forever New clothes and accessories and may have a discount when you can’t find one on the official brand website.
- Free shipping over $100: Forever New offers free standard shipping on all orders over $100, with a $9.95 fee for deliveries under that value.
- Warehouse and sample sales: Usually held at locations in Melbourne or Sydney, Forever New has occasional warehouse and sample sales when you can get big savings. For example, a recent Melbourne sample sale had nothing over $70, while I’ve previously seen one advertising discounts of up to 80% off. These in-person events are sporadic, but I’ve found them through the Forever New website, socials – and once when I walked past a huge line-up for one.
Forever New FAQs: Delivery, returns and mores
What are Forever New’s delivery costs and timeframes?
Forever New has a standard delivery fee of $9.95, which is waived on orders over $100. You should generally allow 3-7 business days for your order to arrive after it’s dispatched.
Forever New also offers express delivery for a flat rate of $14.95, with these orders typically taking 1-4 business days to arrive. Just make sure you place your order on a work day by 4pm Sydney/Melbourne time to meet the express delivery conditions.
Can I click and collect with Forever New?
Yes, it’s free to click and collect from a Forever New store. Just choose click and collect at the checkout, pick your store and you’ll get a notification when your order is ready to collect (usually within 3-4 business days). Forever New stores hold click and collect orders for 10 business days after sending out the collection notification, too.
What is Forever New’s return policy?
Forever New accepts change-of-mind returns for most items within 14 days of the date your online order is delivered, or the purchase date when you shop in-store. The items need to be in their original condition, with all tags, labels, original packaging and proof of purchase.
It’s free to return items in-store at Forever New. But if you want to send them back to Forever New, you’ll be responsible for paying the delivery costs. You can choose a refund, or an exchange for a different size of the same item when returning items by post.
If you’ve bought sale items, you can either exchange them or return them for a Forever New gift card.

Forever New has been a Woman’s Day go-to Australian brand for over 10 years.
