How to redeem your The Body Shop promo code

- Go to the checkout: When you’re ready, click through from your bag to the checkout.
- Add your code: Expand the ‘Order summary’ by clicking on it and you’ll find the promo code section. Enter your code where it says ‘Discount code’ and click ‘Apply’ to update your order. You’ll see details of the discount or promo offer in the order summary and can go through the rest of the checkout from there.

Code not working? Here are my top tips to fix it
It happens to the best of us: you get to the checkout, add the code and it doesn’t apply. The good news is that there are some common issues that are also easy to fix. Here are the tips to get your order back on track:
- Add the code again: Copy the code and paste it in The Body Shop promo code field again, making sure it’s exactly as printed with any capitalisation included. This is a simple step and has fixed a lot of my own code snags over the years.
- Log into your account: Some promo codes, discounts and perks for The Body Shop are linked to your account, so you won’t be able to access them if you’re not logged in. Another easy one!
- Review what’s in your cart: The Body Shop promo codes don’t usually work with bundles, gift cards or some limited-time products like advent calendars. Some codes also won’t work with other promotions or discounts, so check if your items are the reason a code won’t apply.
- Confirm the code is valid: The Body Shop codes are only available for a limited time, sometimes as little as a few days. The Woman’s Day Deals Team call out key details on expiry for our tested codes, and remove old ones. But if you’ve got a code from elsewhere check the fine print to confirm it’s still good.

Does The Body Shop have a promo code for new customers?
Yes, The Body Shop offers 10% off your first order when you join the Love Your Body Club.
There’s no minimum purchase listed, and the terms and conditions say it can be used with other promotions unless the offer states otherwise. There are a few exclusions, too: bundles, advents, Amnesty Gift Tags, gift cards and shipping. It’s also worth noting the code is valid for 7 days from when it’s issued.
Can I get a discount code for shipping with The Body Shop?
The Body Shop may sometimes run promotions that offer free shipping with a code, but orders over $79 get free standard shipping anyway. I’ve found it easy to reach this order amount, so you may not need a code for it. Just keep in mind that if you have a discount code, your order value needs to be over $79 after the code is applied to qualify for free shipping.
Does The Body Shop have a discount for students or essential workers?
In Australia, The Body Shop doesn’t currently have a discount for students, essential workers or other specific community groups. But you can use any of the deals here to save.
It’s worth noting The Body Shop UK offers a 10% discount for students and a 10% discount for essential workers (NHS and armed forces), both of which are not available in Australia at the moment. If that changes, we’ll add details here for any Australian The Body Shop discounts.

- Build a skincare bundle and save: The Body Shop offers a 20% discount when you build your own skincare routine with a product from each of these categories: Cleanse, Tone, Treat and Moisturise.
- Subscribe to save on shipping: If you have The Body Shop products you buy on repeat, you can set up a subscription for regular deliveries, with a schedule of your choosing and with free shipping. As well as being convenient, this is great if your usual order is under the $79 threshold for free shipping.
- Stock up and save: The Body Shop has two bulk-buy promotions at the moment, with three sheet masks for $15 and three jumbo haircare products for $69. To put this in perspective, when I checked you could buy one sheet mask for $10 and one jumbo (400ml) shampoo or conditioner for $29. So these deals offer great value when you buy in bulk.
- Shop during sales: The Body Shop has sales and promotions throughout the year – there was a promotion offering 30% off gift sets when I was writing this article, in fact. But some of the biggest deals are available during major sale periods like Black Friday, Boxing Day and Afterpay Day. For example, during the Afterpay Day sales in March 2026, The Body Shop offered up to 25% off. And last year, Love Your Body Club members could get 30% off select items sitewide in the early Black Friday sale.
How to get more discounts with The Body Shop’s loyalty program
As well as the 10% welcome discount you get for joining the Love Your Body Club, this loyalty program offers two other key ways to save:
- A $10 birthday reward every year: The Body Shop will email you a unique promo code for your birthday, which you have a month to use before it expires. To get this discount, you need to add your date of birth to your account at least 48 hours before your birthday. You also need to have made a purchase from your account in the past 12 months – so if you’ve just signed up and it’s your birthday, you’ll have to wait another year before you get this reward.
- Reward points. You earn 1 point for each $1 spent, plus 50 points for joining the Love Your Body Club, 10 points for each social media follow (Instagram, Facebook and TikTok) and 25 points for leaving a review (capped at five reviews). Every 100 points is equal to a $5 discount at The Body Shop, and you can choose to redeem 100, 200 or 300 points per purchase. This means you can save up to $15 on your order at The Body Shop with reward vouchers. What’s more is you can stack the birthday reward with points to save even more.
These benefits are available online and in-store. When you’re shopping online, log in and your reward vouchers will be available to redeem at the checkout, where you can also enter the $10 birthday promo code when you have it. In-store, show you reward voucher details at the checkout to redeem them.
What to know about The Body Shop points and rewards
- Every 100 Love Your Body Club points are automatically converted into a $5 reward voucher
- You have three months to use a reward voucher before it expires, and can have up to 10 vouchers stored in your account
- Your basket value needs to be at least $0.01 after redeeming vouchers (e.g. if you use a $5 voucher, your order before applying it would need to be $5.01)
- You can redeem up to 300 points ($15 value) per transaction, and up to 500 points per day
- You can earn up to 500 points per day
- Points expire if you haven’t earned or redeemed any in a 12-month period
How much can you save with Love Your Body Club?
The actual value of the new customer discount and the reward points depends on how much you spend with The Body Shop. But as an example, you could earn 105 points just by signing up, following The Body Shop on socials and leaving one review. If you also made a $200 purchase, you’d get another 200 points, for a total of 305 points – enough to get a $15 reward. Here’s a breakdown of this scenario:
- New member points: 50 points
- Instagram follow: 10 points
- Facebook follow: 10 points
- TikTok follow: 10 points
- One product review: 25 points
- Points for $200 purchase: 200
- Total points in this scenario: 305 points = $15 discount voucher, with 5 points leftover

If you’re new to shopping with The Body Shop online or just can’t find the details you want, I’ve got answers for some of the most common questions to make it easier when you’re at the checkout.
How much is delivery with The Body Shop?
The Body Shop has a standard delivery fee of $8.95, but also offer offers free standard delivery for orders over $79 and for subscriptions. You can also pay for express delivery, which costs $14.95 for most areas of Australia except Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory, where express delivery costs $15.95.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are usually dispatched from The Body Shop within one business day, and then take around 1-5 business days for standard delivery or 1-3 business days for express delivery.
Does The Body Shop have click and collect?
Yes. You can pick up your order from The Body Shop by choosing one of the retail stores, and it should be ready within one business day.
What is The Body Shop’s return policy?
The Body Shop accepts returns within 30 days of your purchase when the product is unopened, unused and in its original condition. You also need to have valid proof of purchase for a refund. Otherwise, you may be able to get an exchange, at their discretion.
Refunds are processed back to your original payment method, based on the total you paid for each returned product. This means the value of any promo code or discount won’t be refunded. And any points you earned for the purchase will also be adjusted to reflect the return.
To start a return online, you need to contact The Body Shop by email customercare@thebodyshop.com.au with details of your order. Otherwise, you can return your products to a store, or check the terms and conditions for further details.
What payment methods can I use?

The Body Shop was one of the first skincare and beauty stores I shopped at – here’s what I think of it now
In the past 50 years, there has been a lot of change in the skincare and beauty space – and The Body Shop has influenced this on the ethical side of things. Founded in England in 1976 by Dame Anita Roddick, The Body Shop was championing cruelty-free products, refillable packaging and ethically sourced ingredients long before they were mainstream. It’s one of the reasons I first bought products from there (I loved their body butters as a teen, as well as their lip balms). It also earned The Body Shop a spot on our list of ethical beauty products and brands, as well as articles on winter skincare, sun-damaged skin and more.
While The Body Shop is now owned by the Auréa Group (following a change in ownership in 2024), I’m glad to see the focus on cruelty-free products and natural ingredients continuing in the current range. The White Tea & Elderflower collection, in particular, has caught my eye.
