The City Chic website actually gives you two options for adding a discount code – either in your bag or at the checkout before paying. Here’s a step-by-step guide for either option.
- Get a valid code: Woman’s Day verifies every City Chic code and deal before adding it here, so just click to reveal the active code and/or offer details.
- Shop with City Chic: We’ve made it easy by opening a new window to take you to the relevant category or section of the site, where you can choose your fashion pieces and accessories, and add them to your virtual bag.
- Log in: If you’re a member of CC Nation, log in to access any member discounts, rewards or promotions linked to your account.
- Add the code to your virtual bag: When you’re ready, click on the bag icon and you’ll find a discount code field after the subtotal for your order. Enter your code here and click ‘Apply’ to update the subtotal.
- OR add your code at the checkout: After clicking through to the checkout, enter your contact and delivery details and follow the prompts until you get to the payment information section. Then, click on ‘Have a coupon code or gift card’, enter the discount code in the field that appears and click ‘Apply’ to update your order.
- Place your order: Review the details, finalise your payment and City Chic will send confirmation of your order once it’s processed.
Can I use the City Chic $50 discount code in-store?
No, City Chic’s $50 welcome discount for new customers is only available online when you add it at the checkout.
What if my City Chic discount code doesn’t work?
The Woman’s Day Deals Team personally test every City Chic promo code at the checkout to make sure it works. But if you’ve got a discount code from somewhere else, or are having trouble, here’s what to check:
- Is the code entered exactly as it’s printed? Discount codes may be case-sensitive, which means any capital or lowercase letters need to be the same. Copying and pasting the code again, then checking for any extra spaces or characters before your click ‘Apply’ usually resolves this issue if it’s a typo or error in the code.
- Does your order meet the minimum spend requirement? Most City Chic discount codes have a minimum order value you need to meet before the code can be applied. For example, the $50 new customer discount is available with a minimum spend of $149, while the $20 birthday voucher for Bold CC Nation members is valid on orders over $50. Check your order meets the minimum, update your cart (if needed) and try the code again.
- Are your items full-price? Most City Chic discount codes only work on full-price items, including the new customer discount code, student discount and birthday/anniversary vouchers. If you have sale items in your cart, the code won’t apply to them. The same goes for other promotional offers, such as the ‘buy one get one’ bra offers for CC Nation members. Usually, you can’t add a code to these.
- Is the code still valid? While Woman’s Day only lists active City Chic discount codes – regularly reviewing and removing expired offers – you may find other codes online that appear active until you try to use them. City Chic’s loyalty program offers more benefits based on your membership tier. This is based on your spending: you earn 1 Nation Credit per $1 spent, which accumulate over 12 months and allow you to progress to a higher tier. Here’s a rundown of the Nation Credits and benefits for each level:

Is City Chic’s loyalty program worth it?
I’ve researched and joined a lot of reward/loyalty programs, and City Chic’s offers are some of the most valuable I’ve found. Especially the birthday/anniversary discount vouchers – not many programs offer one or the other if you don’t enter your date of birth, so I appreciate that. And the ‘buy one get one’ bra offers, because we all know buying bras can add up!
So even if you only shop a couple of times a year at City Chic, you could still get a lot of value out of being a member.
More easy ways to save with City Chic
- Sale section: The City Chic website has a sale tab where you can find discounts and bargains year-round. For example, I found discounts of up to 60% on a range of dresses, jumpsuits, jeans, outerwear and other items last time I checked. There’s also a whole section for sale bras under $25, last chance, further markdowns and helpful filters for price, size and more.
- Major sales: City Chic often has some of the biggest discounts during major sale events like Black Friday, Boxing Day, Afterpay Day and end-of-season sales. For example, last Black Friday, City Chic offered 30-50% off select items sitewide. There was a similar promotion for Afterpay Day in March 2026, and in July I saw sale items for up to 70% off.
- Student discount: City Chic offers a 10% discount code for students and recent graduates via StudentBeans, which you can use on eligible full-price items.
- Free shipping offer: City Chic offers free standard delivery when you spend over $150, or discounted $5 express delivery when you spend this much and want your order faster. Does City Chic have a friend referral discount code?
City Chic previously offered a $20 discount for friend referrals in Australia but this program is not currently running. I double-checked this by logging into my CC Nation account to find any referral option. I also found an archived version of the terms and conditions page from May 2025, which included details on the refer-a-friend program, but those details are no longer part of the current T&Cs. We’ll update you if and when that changes.
Another option, if you have a loyal social media following, could be to apply for the Ambassador Program, which offers you affiliate links, new styles every month, social shares and other benefits.
Can I stack City Chic discount codes?
Unfortunately, no. While there are two chances to add your discount code when shopping online with City Chic, you can only add one discount code per order.
Does City Chic have a discount for Seniors cardholders?
City Chic doesn’t currently have a discount specifically for people with Seniors Cards. But you can use any of the offers here to save.
Where can I buy City Chic gift cards?
You can buy a digital City Chic gift card directly through the website, with physical gift cards available for purchase in-store. You may sometimes be able to buy City Chic gift cards, but when I checked there were none available through major retailers like Woolworths, Coles or Prezzee.
Can I get a 10% discount on a City Chic gift card?
Currently, there’s no specific discount for 10% off City Chic gift cards. But if one becomes available, we’ll add details here.
How much is delivery with City Chic?
City Chic offers free standard delivery on orders over $150, with a flat delivery fee of $10 for orders under that value. This is based on the total order value after discounts. So if you add a code and it takes your order under $150, standard shipping fees will apply.
If you’re a CC Nation Glam member, you also get free standard delivery for orders in Australia, with no minimum spend.
You can also choose any of the other delivery options:
- Express delivery: A flat rate of $14.95 for orders under $150, and a reduced fee of $5 for orders over $150.
- Next-day delivery: $9 for select NSW metro suburbs, with delivery on the next business day.
- Second-day delivery: $9 for select NSW metro suburbs.
Can I click and collect from City Chic?
City Chic offers a limited click and collect option for full-price items, known as Delivery To Store. It’s available at select stores in NSW, VIC, QLD and SA, and you’ll see this option at the checkout if your billing address is within 25km of a participating store.
Is City Chic available at Myer?
Yes! City Chic is available at Myer and I’ve seen discounted prices and promotions available there as well. In fact, Woman’s Day featured City Chic in an article on Myer fashion brands for full-figured women back in 2016. If you’re a member of the MYER One loyalty program, you could shop City Chic there to earn reward points, save with MYER One vouchers or even become a member to get rewards (check out our Myer discount code guide for more tips and offers).
Just remember that you won’t be able to get CC Nation benefits when shopping at Myer. And promotions, return policies, delivery and other details will all be based on Myer’s policies.
What is City Chic’s return policy?
City Chic accepts change-of-mind returns within 30 days when the items are in their original condition with all labels and tickets attached. You also need to provide proof of purchase, such as your receipt or tax invoice. City Chic has also recently introduced a new service to make online returns easier, but there is a $9.95 return delivery fee for this option. You can avoid this fee by returning items to a City Chic store. Otherwise, it will be deducted from your refund total.
What to know about City Chic refunds, discount codes and other promotional offers
- City Chic will only refund you the total amount you paid for your purchase, minus any delivery fees.
- If you used a discount code or voucher this amount won’t be refunded and you usually won’t be able to use the discount code again.
- Final sale items are not eligible for online change-of-mind returns.
- When returning an item bought as part of a ‘two-for-one’, ‘spend & save’ or similar promotion, the refund will be based on the discounted price of the additional item, rather than the full-price value.
