Which couples will survive past final vows on Married At First Sight 2024?

It has been a season of cheating scandals, emotional breakthroughs, false intentions, friendships and red flags, but the 2024 season of Married At First Sight Australia is coming to an end with final vows.

The season 11 final vows ceremony on MAFS will see five couples make the decision on whether they continue the relationship in the outside world or end it.

Some will confess their love for one another, but as MAFS fans will know, final vows are the participants last time to confess how they truly feel about their pairing – meaning savage statements are heading our way.

The final couples are Sara and Tim, Jayden and Eden, Tori and Jack, Jade and Ridge, and finally Lauren and Jonathan.

So who do fans think will make it into the outside world? Which couples ending have already been spoiled? We investigate.

SARA & TIM

Sara and Tim’s journey was not simple – with the brides cheating scandal leaking mid-season. Despite this, the pair appeared to be working through it.

But paparazzi photos have caught Tim kissing a mysterious brunette months after MAFS filming would have ended.

The specific details regarding how and when their relationship broke down remains unknown.

TORI & JACK

This pairing was one of the more controversial this season, with many participants and fans believing they wouldn’t go the distance. However, an exclusive interview with Woman’s Day in early March revealed Jack’s “connection” to Tori was only growing.

Already the pair have begun talking about children as Jack said: “I’m absolutely open to having kids.”

“I think Jack would be a great dad. I just know that he was brought up with really strong values and he’d make an excellent dad. Kids are very important to me. We’ll have them,” Tori said.

Meanwhile, relationship expert John Aiken told TV WEEK his thoughts on the “polarising couple.”

“The group really struggled with them – particularly Jack’s behaviour – but the pair never broke ranks,” he said. “They always have each other’s backs, regardless of what’s thrown at them,” he says. “That gives them a serious chance to get over the line.”

JADE & RIDGE

Despite entering the experiment late as one of the intruder couples, Jade and Ridge arguably have one of the strongest connections. There were plenty of concerns regarding Ridge’s lack of maturity, but there is nothing but love between these two.

In February, videos of the pair kissing and partying in Bali were leaked. Additionally, while at the MAFS dinner party 2.0 hosted by Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie, the pair were very cuddling – suggesting they are still together post-experiment.

During the final vows which aired Sunday March 31, the pair both decided to continue their relationship outside of the experiment.

LAUREN & JONATHAN

One of the most explosive spoilers to leak this season was the paparazzi photos of Jonathan and participant Ellie – who was wed to Ben before leaving mid-experiment – kissing on the beach.

Since then, there hasn’t been much hope for the pair but curiosity as to how Lauren will discover this information. During the final vows, the pair both delievered savage speeches as they called the relationship quits.

“Although you completely wasted my time in terms of finding a romantic partner you taught me that I should always trust my gut,” Lauren said. “Jono, I don’t see a future with you and no its not me it’s you.”

Despite this, Lauren seems to be on good terms with her ‘ex’ as she revealed during the Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie dinner party:  “I can confirm that they are together and they’re really happy.”

JAYDEN & EDEN

One of this season’s sweethearts were beginning to spiral towards the end of the season, but aside from their differing communication styles Jayden and Eden appear to be the perfect match.  

But it isn’t Eden’s anxiety that could make or break their relationship as John revealed it could be his career.

“They have a strong chance of making it. But it’s going to come down to how she can handle his career choice. Being an athlete means spending a lot of time away from her – managing that may be an ongoing difficulty, as it’s a big part of his life,” he told TV WEEK.

We suspect the pair remain together outside of the experiment after Jayden’s brother Mitch shared a photo of himself in October 2023 cuddling a golden retriever suspiciously similar to Eden’s dog, Cub.

However, the post was edited on February 1,2024. Jayden and Eden’s wedding episode releasing on January 31. What was Mitch editing out of the caption three months after posting?

Despite the fans theories, Mitch has neither confirmed or denied who owns the pooch.
