While Ronan Keating and Richard Marx have formed a fast friendship on and off screen on The Voice, behind the scenes, sources say their glamorous wives aren’t exactly planning any couples getaway trips together anytime soon.
Insiders reveal that while Ronan’s wife, Storm, 44, and Richard’s wife, Daisy Fuentes, 59, are always the picture of grace at industry events, their relationship is strictly professional and didn’t develop into a deeper connection while both their husbands worked on the hit Channel Seven singing show.
Strictly business
Despite their husbands sharing a massive passion for music and a growing bromance, Storm and Daisy’s connection starts and ends with their famous spouses.
“Storm and Daisy don’t have much in common, apart from the fact both their husbands are famous singers,” reveals a source close to the show. “Even if they have spent time together behind the scenes, their friendship is purely through their husbands and nothing more.”

While fans might assume double dates or international reunions are on the horizon for the two celebrity couples, the reality is far more low-key.
“They’re friendly if, and when, they need to be, but you’re not exactly going to find them having a girls’ night out together. There’s certainly no bad blood — it’s just not this great friendship people might think it is. Take the husbands out of the equation and there’s probably not much for them to talk about.”
A forced connection?
Ronan and Richard formed a solid bond as coaches on The Voice, turning their working relationship into a genuine real-life friendship. But trying to translate that into a four-way dynamic hasn’t quite worked out.
“Ronan and Richard can talk for hours, but Storm and Daisy aren’t finishing each other’s sentences,” the insider adds. “They’re more likely to have a polite chat at an event than arrange to meet up for coffee. Richard and Ronan would love for them to be closer and for them to all go on luxurious holidays together, but it’s not going to happen. Right now, that would just be awkward.”
Eagle-eyed social media followers have also picked up on the distance between the two women. Despite both Storm and Daisy having massive online followings and posting regularly, sightings of the pair together are virtually non-existent.
“That’s the funny thing. They’re both prolific posters, yet there’s been precious little evidence of them actually hanging out,” notes the source. “Let’s put it this way, if Ronan and Richard stopped working together tomorrow, nobody would be expecting Storm and Daisy to suddenly start going on girly getaways together.”
It should be noted, however, that as Ronan and Storm celebrated their recent 11th anniversary there was one person cheering them on in the comments, and that was Richard, despite the fact he nor Daisy follow Storm on Instagram.
“Happy anniversary, you crazy kids,” he commented on Ronan’s post.
