A handshake deal between Roscoe and Courtney quickly turns into one of the biggest headaches of the week on The Block when Roscoe forgets exactly what he agreed to.
“I got a phone call saying, ‘I’ve made a deal,’” wife and teammate Lisa, 34, tells TV WEEK. “I was like, ‘Okay, cool. What’s the deal?’ He said he had no idea what he’d agreed to. Who makes a deal and doesn’t know what they agreed to?”
With a major prize on the line and the stakes so high for Main Bathroom Week, it all sparks tension between the WA couple and House 4’s Courtney and Sev. While FIFO worker Roscoe, 38, attempts to smooth things over, Lisa isn’t convinced the friendship is worth saving.
“Courtney and Rosco really did butt heads, and it made me strongly dislike the girls,” Lisa says. “Ross is normally a very likeable person: it’s his superpower. So, if Ross doesn’t like these people, I thought: ‘There must be something seriously wrong with these chicks.’”
When House 1’s Jolene tells Lisa and Roscoe what’s been said behind their backs, the tension follows everyone home. “It wasn’t like you walked through the front door and the drama disappeared.” Lisa reveals.
Will they be able to mend fences, or is the neighbourhood now in an all-out war?
The Block airs Monday to Wednesday at 7.30pm and Sunday at 7pm on the Nine Network and 9Now.
