Big drama is kicking off on The Block over the results from the family bathroom and powder room reveals.
Courtney and Sev in House 4 entered Sunday’s reveal with the most work left, including tiling, waterproofing, plastering, ceilings and skylights on their to-do list. The Cursio Bros became hot property, with Wyatt allowing them to help House 4 despite Courtney and Sev being their direct rivals. Add to this, Rosco also stepped in, offering himself and his chippie to help get them over the line.
By tools down, Courtney and Sev had staged an impressive comeback and completed their bathroom — and the judges loved it. “These guys have gone in boots and all,” said Shaynna Blaze, as the judges agreed their bathroom “screamed luxury.”
The judges did notice there were no powerpoints installed in the bathroom, but still said it was “amazing” work from the women.
Meanwhile, Adam and Jolene impressed with their finishes and styling, although the judges questioned their layout changes, particularly removing the powder room door. Courtney and Sev ultimately won again with a score of 25.5 out of 30, winning a huge $250,000 E&S kitchen appliance advantage and beating Adam and Jolene by just one point — leaving them reeling.
Courtney and Sev’s controversial bathroom win

The Brisbane besties knew immediately that their win would be controversial. “There are going to be a few things that ruffle some feathers,” Sev said.
And feathers were ruffled, especially Jolene’s, as the country mum couldn’t believe they placed runner-up for the second week in a row. “I’m pissed!” Jolene vented in a confessional, as she noted how the women had enlisted help from other rooms’ tradies to get the room finished. “Damsels in distress, whatever!”
In a phone call to her mum, Jolene’s rant continued. “The girls are a joke. Everyone else did their work for them… and we just bust our arse. It doesn’t leave a good taste in my mouth.”

On Monday’s episode, the divide only deepened when Rick, Chantel and Wyatt voiced why they agreed with Jolene’s take. “Adam and Jolene just got robbed,” Wyatt said. “If I was Adam and Jolene, I’d be filthy.”
The teams touring the winning room only made matters worse, as it was noted that some of Courtney and Sev’s bathroom work was not completed. “An unfinished room should not be allowed to win,” Wyatt vented.
Courtney and Sev admitted that their shared house felt ‘awkward’ for them, as they were given a ‘cold’ response from their competitors.
The Block’s Robby on whether early favouritism with the judges matters
Speaking to Woman’s Day, 2025 fan-favourite Robby said it was important to take on the judges’ feedback and also revealed which team he’s rooting for!
“Consistency with the judges definitely builds confidence. But you need to listen to them and take on their feedback, or you’re doomed!” he said.
“It’s a long game. Mat and I were proof of that – we came out of the gates winning week one, then crashed and burned in week two. We were wildly, spectacularly inconsistent the whole way through… which was kind of fun!”
He also said he was keeping up to date with this year’s shenanigans, offering advice to teams like Rosco and Lisa, and Tayla and Rick, who are struggling so far on the leaderboard.
“Breathe – it’s early days and nobody’s ‘Block fit’ this soon. You’re still getting smashed by the sheer scale of it: trades, timing, cameras in your face, producers stirring the pot, and figuring out exactly how Dan and G-Daddy like things done,” he said.
“Once that settles, it gets easier… for some!”
And on his favourite teams? Robby is firmly backing House One.
“We’re obviously in Adam and Jolene’s corner – our fellow South Aussies, and genuinely lovely people with huge hearts. Wishing them nothing but the best,” he said.
“I’ve also got a soft spot for Rick – such a hardworking, big-hearted guy, and the first contestant to compete in the Block solo, haha!” he joked.
