Julia Morris has been the heart and soul of I’m A Celeb since it premiered in Australia in 2015.
The Australian comedian co-hosted the show alongside Dr Chris Brown for eight seasons, before the Bondi Vet announced he was leaving the network.
For the past two years, Julia has been sharing co-hosting duties with now 21-year-old Robert Irwin, who joined the cast at the start of 2024.
Here’s everything we know about Julia Morris’ life offscreen:
Is Julia Morris married?
Julia and her ex-husband, Welsh comedian Dan Thomas, divorced in 2021, after 16 years of marriage.
The couple first met more than 20 years ago at Club Sunday, an Aussie expat weekly get-together event in London. They later reconnected through friends at Edinburgh’s Festival Fringe.
In 2005, they tied the knot on New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas. And in 2021, the couple decided to go their seperate ways.
Speaking to the Australian Women’s Weekly in 2023, the comedian said there was nothing “dramatically wrong” with her marriage, it was just that they were growing in different directions.
“Once you’ve got that [knowledge of not growing in the same direction] in your headspace, the other person starts to become quite a pest,” she said at the time.

“I think that’s where patience starts to wear down too, ‘I’m not living like this’. How is this an example for my girls that this is an okay life to lead? No thanks.”
Julia ultimately asked herself how she wanted to live for the second half of her life and whether that vision included Dan.
“Is this me?” she recalled thinking to herself in the interview. “What is it? I should feel happy. I’ve got a job, my children are healthy, [and] my husband is nice. It’s not like he’s a beast. He’s not a nightmare. So why am I still not happy?”
The standup comedian said Dan felt the same way, which meant they’ve been able to have an amicable divorce.
“He literally said, ‘Oh my God, I feel the same way, this is amazing, ‘” she said of their decision. “And then we sat down and ordered new bedside tables for the apartment we rented to do the ‘nesting’.”
The couple share two daughters together — Ruby, 19, and Sophie, 17 — who they’ve kept out of the public eye.
Is Julia Morris dating anyone?
Julia hasn’t been publicly linked to anyone since her divorce.
After the divorce, she told radio hosts Fitzy and Wippa she doesn’t really know how to date anymore.
“Well, it’s been 20 years since I was a single lady. And I don’t mean going out and picking up. I just mean, how do you respond to being a single person?” she told Fitzy and Wippa in 2022.
“I’m actually I think I’m very good at being married. But I like that bit.”
And in 2024, she confessed on 2Day FM that she hasn’t been “pashed” in more than three years.

“How’s the irony that I’m now stunning, a cash package, and fit as a fiddle,” she told Hughesy Ed and Erin at the time.
She’s recently been diagnosed with ADHD
In recent episode of the ABC’s The Assembly, Julia opened up about being diagnosed with ADHD later in life and reflected on how the disorder unknowingly impacted her friendships over the years.
“One thing that I look back on, and I think having an earlier diagnosis would have helped with, is how much I’ve let my friends down over the years,” the now 57-year-old told host Leigh Sales during the episode.
“Now, when I make a plan with someone, I’m like, ‘Let’s absolutely do it, but there’s every possibility I’ll pull out’, so I can do some pre-disappointment. That really helps because I don’t like that feeling of letting people down.”
Julia first spoke about her diagnosis on an episode of I’m A Celeb last year, admitting it had been confronting to receive the diagnosis at 56.
“I loved hearing Sigrid talk about her friends. Oh my God, the amount of friends I’ve got that have gone by the wayside ‘cause they just gave up on ever getting a return message,” she said at the time.
