Luke Newton is the charming British actor overwhelming every media platform – and we aren’t complaining.
The 31-year-old reached stardom after his debut as Colin in Netflix’s Bridgerton where he unknowingly toyed with Penelope Featherington’s (Nicola Coughlan) heart for two seasons.

Prior to this, the English-born actor stars in a variety of television series including The Lodge, Mr Selfridge and The Cut.
But in 2024, he takes centre stage in Bridgerton season three as the leading romantic man and suddenly fans are curious as to whether or not Luke Newton has a girlfriend.

Now that Luke has wrapped up his season-three, on-screen romance with Nicola, it seems the Bridgerton actor is ready to put his real-life love story in the spotlight.
He recently stepped out with professional dancer Antonia Roumelioti at an afterparty, following the London mid-season premiere of the show. The pair were holding hands, sparking dating rumours.
Luke hasn’t addressed their relationship yet. But internet sleuths have been quick to notice that Antonia was also in New York City at the same time Bridgerton premiered in the Big Apple.
The Mirror also reported that Luke and Antonia were seen sunbathing together in front of Griffith Observatory in L.A back in April 2024.

In the past, the actor hasn’t shied away from sharing his romantic life on social media and did so with ex-girlfriend Jade Davies. But rumours of their breakup spread in March 2023 when Daily Mail reported he had allegedly joined the celebrity dating app Raya – sign us up!

But it seems the pair are merely excellent at their jobs. Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan are not dating – but we can still hold out hope.
It is almost shocking to discover the pair are just friends after Nicola previously admitted to Cosmopolitan UK that the intimate scenes were her “favourite” to film.
“We wanted to make them sexy. We wanted it to feel real. We wanted the audience to be like, ‘Oh my god!’ They’re beautifully written scenes,” Nicola said. “It’s not just sexy for sexy’s sake. There’s a story in there. I think they’re beautiful, they were some of my favourite scenes to film. I never thought I would say that at the beginning of the season – I was terrified. But I look back on them with real fondness.”

Luke was most recently dating West End actress and singer Jade Davies and was rather public about their relationship.
The pair made several red-carpet appearances including the season two premiere of Bridgerton. The pair were dating since 2019 before reports of their split in March 2023.
Prior to this relationship, Luke was linked to his former The Lodge co-star Sophie Simnett from 2016 to 2018, but nothing was confirmed.
