Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s daughter Faith Margaret has largely stayed out of the spotlight compared to her older sister Sunday Rose, but insiders say that’s about to change – and when it does, she could be an even bigger triple threat than her famous mum.
“Faith is the Kidman family’s secret boss-level weapon,” an insider tells Woman’s Day. “She’s being carefully protected right now, but she is honing her acting and singing abilities to perfection.”
Nicole Kidman’s “rule of 16”
Nicole has previously been open about the boundary she set for her daughter Sunday Rose’s entry into the industry.
“She’s about to turn 16,” the actress told Victoria Beckham in a September 2023 Vogue Australia interview. “That’s what I told her, when she was 16 she was allowed to come to a [fashion] show. She’s wanted to go for a long time.”
And she stuck to it. Sunday turned 16 in July 2024 and made her runway debut that October.
If the same rule applies to Faith – who turns 16 on December 28 this year – her own introduction to the industry could be just months away.

According to the insider, Faith wants to walk the same path as her Oscar-winning mother – and reportedly has the talent to match.
“She does want to follow her mum into a prestigious acting career and she’s got the skills to do it,” the source says. “She’s an even more beautiful version of her mum, and Nicole’s been fielding calls for her from everyone including Disney and some of Hollywood’s top teen agents.”
There are already hints she’s preparing for the spotlight. An Instagram account under the handle @faithmargaretofficial has been set up, with her cousin Lucia Hawley and her mum’s best friend Reese Witherspoon among its followers.
But school comes first. “She knows she has to finish high school first – that’s the deal – but she hasn’t completely ruled out drama school either,” the insider adds.
For now, sources say Faith is happy to wait in the wings while her older sister builds her own name in the industry, “letting Sunday establish her career without having to compete with her little sister.”
Torn between two famous parents
Insiders describe Faith as “the quiet little genius” of the family, with Nicole reportedly backing her whatever path she chooses.
But that choice isn’t simple – with a Grammy-winning father and an Oscar-winning mother, picking a lane means picking a side.
“Part of her is torn between singing and acting as it feels like choosing between mum and dad,” the source says.
It’s also reportedly been a delicate balancing act emotionally: “She’s already done well to stay out of the family dramas, but it’s not been easy for her. She was always a daddy’s girl, so it’s been hard watching her most loved people go to war with each other.”
