Actress Melissa McCarthy announced she was making a plus-size clothing range earlier this year and now the popular star has revealed more about the highly-anticipated line.
Speaking to Women’s Wear Daily, the 44-year-old said she has been every size on the planet.
“I have experience dressing me as a 6, a 12 and more. And when you go above a size 12, you don’t lose your love of fashion,” the Bridesmaids actress told WWD.
The line, which is yet to have a name, is set to launch in 2015.
“I’d been looking for two, three, maybe four years for manufacturers to help us do this line,” she added.
“I always said, ‘Why can’t I find great stuff?’ And Sunrise [the company releasing the line] was up to the challenge”.
“I’m doing all sizes. It’s a strange thing to stop at a certain size. Women don’t, so why should clothes?” she said of the range.
