Cindy Crawford’s look-a-like daughter Kaia Gerber is looking to become fashion’s hottest ‘it girl’ having landed a coveted spot in Alexander Wang’s spring 2016 campaign.

The 14-year-old who sports the same striking face, glossy brown mane and long legs as her mother, has certainly been carving out a career for herself of late. In 2015 the stunning teen made her debut in Vogue Italia, shot by Steven Meisel no less, and a spread with her brother Presley Walker Gerber, 16, in Carine Roitfeld’s prestigious CR Fashion Book.

Last year Cindy, 49, told E! that her only daughter does have a keen interest in following in her footsteps.

“They see so much on Instagram, so yes, she’s interested in fashion, loves Kendall Jenner,” she told E!, “So she’s gotten a few opportunities to do little modelling things, and at least in this area of her life she’ll take my advice. I’m happy that she loves doing it in little bits and pieces.”

And Cindy herself isn’t ready to give the modelling game away just yet after having somewhat of a career revival and recently nabbing a 2016 Balmain campaign along her original supermodel alumni Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell.

So what does the model attribute for her 30+ years reigning supreme?

“Fortunately, my brand lined up with who I really am – I’m not secretly smashing up hotel rooms,” Crawford told Net-a-porter last year.

Adding: “Who knew modelling would have got me all the way to 49? I remember thinking at 25 I had 5 years left…”

Cindy joins a growing group of models who are landing giant fashion campaigns in 30s, 40s, 50s and well beyond their expected modelling career expiry dates proving with each appearance that style knows no age.
