Body positive campaigner Harnaam Kaur has been named by Guinness World Records as the youngest woman in the world to grow a full beard.
The 21-year-old from Berkshire, England said the formal recognition of her six-inch long facial hair would help her overcome years of bullying about her appearance.

On Wednesday Harnaam took to Twitter to thank Guinness and said “This is a great accomplishment for me!”

Ms Kaur sufferes from polycystic ovary syndrome, a hormonal condition that can cause growth of excess facial hair.

Earlier this year the Brit was the first woman with a beard to walk the runway at London Fashion Week.
