The best the film industry has to offer will walk the red carpet for the 96th Academy Award on March 11, 2024, in the hopes they will win on of the prestigious awards.

Best known as the Oscars, the night of nights will also be a fashion statement for entertainment it-girls donning luxury gowns. Perhaps Emma Stone will wear Louis Vuitton? Or will Margot Robbie wear Schiaparelli?

Where can I watch the 2024 Oscars in Australia?

The Academy Awards ceremony will be available for streaming live on either Channel 7 and 7Plus.

For those interested in the fabulous red carpet arrivals, 7Bravo will air E!’s live red carpet coverage.

When are the 2024 Oscars?

In Australia, the Academy Awards will begin at 10am AEDT on Monday, March 11, 2024. With Oscars ceremony set to commence roughly 30 minutes after pre-show.

There is no official timings for the red carpet yet, however it traditionally begins an hour or two beforehand.

Who is hosting this years Oscars?

Beloved late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will be taking the Oscars stage as the 2024 host, marking his fourth time hosting the event.

Jimmy first hosted in 2017, before invited to return in 2018 and again in 2023. Joining Jimmy on-stage is the presenters including America Ferrera, Emily Blunt, Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Hemsworth, Ryan Gosling, Zendaya, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlize Teron, Sally Field, Dwayne Johnson and Catherine O’Hara.
