One endearing, hidden Oscars moment shared between actors Kate Winslet, Cate Blanchett and Brie Larson has caused the entirety of Hollywood to explode with pregnancy rumours.
In the very revealing snaps, the glamorous trio can be seen standing in a circle during the filming of an ad break, having a candid conversation and laughing together.
But whatever Kate Winslet said next caused the blonde Aussie’s eyes to widen in surprise and excitedly place her hand onto Kate’s tummy, as Best Actress winner Brie Larson went in for a congratulatory embrace.
In the snaps, it looks as if Kate Winslet, 40, is sharing some exciting news with Cate Blanchett and Brie Larson.
The set of images were immediately noticed by eagle-eyed fans and were shared liberally to social media paired with speculative captions.
“Did Kate Winslet just tell Cate Blanchett and Brie Larson that she’s pregnant or am I just looking into it too much?” One user Tweeted with the image of the overjoyed Cate reaching towards the Titanic actresses stomach.
If these exciting rumours are indeed true, this will be Kate’s fourth child.
The 40-year-old already shares 15-year-old daughter, Mia with ex-husband Jim Threapleton, a 12-year-old son, Joe with second ex-husband Sam Mendes, and 2-year-old son, Bear who she shares with her current husband, Ned Rocknroll.
However a source close to the mother-of-three told TMZ that the Steve Jobs star “is not with child,” but rather that she was “simply showing off the material on her dress to the ladies.”
The Titanic star, who walked the Oscars red carpet with Leonardo DiCaprio, opted for a flowing black gown, which would have perfectly concealed the early stages of a baby bump.
While Kate is yet to comment on the claims, her outfit choice at Sunday’s award show certainly would have helped conceal any burgeoning bumps. The English beauty opted for a floor-length, loose-fitting black strapless gown as she walked the red carpet with her BFF and Best Actor winner, Leonardo DiCaprio.
There’s no doubt Kate adores motherhood. “They’re absolutely adorable together. I really love hanging out with my kids. They’re terrific people. They’re kind of happy in who they are, too, and that’s all you can really hope for them – that they love being themselves,” she told People last year.
