Foxy First Lady Michelle Obama turns 50!

This month Michelle Obama turns 50 so what a better time to take a look back at some of the First Lady's most memorable moments in the spotlight.

Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama was born January 17, 1964. While she is primarily known for a strong force behind her husband, the 44th and current US president, Barack Obama, she has championed causes and has achieved success in her own right.

A Princeton and Harvard educated lawyer, Michelle started her career in 1988 at a Chicago law , where she met Barack. The couple wed four years later.

The First Lady dedicates her time and influence to highlighting social issues, with a particular focus on youth health and nutrition.

Despite all her triumphs, anyone with half a clue can see that the First Lady is dedicated family woman and her two daughters, Malia and Sasha, are her pride and joy! So, in the spirit of celebration we take a look back to admire and rejoice some moments in the life of one inspirational wife and mother.
