Farmer Wants A Wife stars Jarrad Casaretto and Brodie Anderson have both broken their silence following news of their split, taking to Instagram to reflect on their journey after regaining access to their accounts.
The pair confirmed their break-up after the reunion, following speculation about their relationship status.

Jarrad kept things warm and grateful. “What an incredible journey FWAW has been,” he wrote. “I’m so grateful for the experience, the memories, and all the beautiful people I had the chance to meet both on and off camera.”
He continued: “Brodie, I feel incredibly lucky that our paths crossed. Although it wasn’t the fairytale ending we hoped for, I’ll always be grateful for the journey we shared, the memories we made and the friendship that came from it. Sometimes life doesn’t go how you imagined, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t taking you somewhere amazing.”
He signed off on a hopeful note: “Here’s to new chapters, new adventures and everything that’s still to come. I know the best is yet to come.”
Brodie’s post went further, hinting that the version of her and Jarrad’s relationship viewers saw on screen wasn’t the full picture. “No words will ever come close to encapsulating the experience that was Farmer Wants a Wife,” she began. “Television can only ever show a small part of a much larger story. While I’m so grateful for the opportunity, it has been hard at times because the story Jarrad and I shared wasn’t always the one that made it to screen.”
She described their connection as something deliberately kept private. “From the beginning, what we had grew so naturally. It wasn’t loud or dramatic – it was quiet, genuine and something we both chose to protect. Some of my favourite moments with Jarrad were the ones no one will ever see. Those are the memories I’ll treasure most because they belonged entirely to us.”

Brodie also spoke about what she took from the experience beyond the relationship itself. “I never went into this experience wanting attention or airtime. I simply came with an open heart, hoping to find someone worth taking a chance on. Not every journey ends the way we imagine, but that doesn’t make what was shared any less meaningful.”
She added that she leaves the show with “the friendships, the laughter, the support and the quiet acts of kindness from everyone behind the scenes.”
On the split itself, Brodie was candid: “Regardless of how our story was told or the fact that I ultimately am not his person, I’m deeply grateful for the grace with which we’ve navigated this chapter together.”
She closed with: “Every ending creates space for a new beginning and I’m hopeful for whatever my next chapter may hold. Here’s to finding love, carrying forward the lessons, the memories, and a heart that is fuller for having lived them.”
The posts follow the pair’s joint statement to Woman’s Day confirming their split: “While we’re not together at this time, we remain an important part of each other’s lives and have a great deal of respect and care for one another. We’re incredibly grateful for the experience we shared and for everyone’s support throughout our journey.”
