Australian Survivor is mixing things up! In a worldwide first, the iconic reality show is pairing up some of the biggest names in the country alongside everyday Aussies to compete in Australian Survivor: Rivals.
While previous seasons of Survivor have been famously shot in Samoa, this season will take place on the beaches of Malaysia, and we can’t wait to see what new challenges this different tropical landscape throws at the players.
What is the premise of Australian Survivor: Rivals
In an exciting new twist, Australian Survivor: Rivals is pitting a combination of Aussie TV stars and every day people against each other. But this time around, they’re not exactly selected at random. Every player has a mirror, a person with very similar skills and experience, playing on the opposite team.
Each player not only has to work with their tribe, but find a way to essentially beat their rival in the game to win a whopping prize of half a million dollars.
Who is hosting Australian Survivor: Rivals?
After a brilliant first season taking the reigns from Jonathan LaPaglia, the Golden God David Genat will be returning to host this season of Australian Survivor: Rivals.
