US music star Kelly Clarkson has revealed she is pregnant with her first child announcing the news on Twitter.
“I’m pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited!” the 31-year-old wrote, adding that it was the ‘Best early Christmas present ever.’
Kelly married Brandon Blackstock, the son of the star’s manager, in a small and intimate ceremony in Tennessee just last month.
The pair began dating at the beginning of 2012 and became engaged after 10 months.
Just last week the American Idol star revealed to TV host Jay Leno that she and her new husband had been trying ‘like rabbits’ to have a baby ever since they tied the knot.
Kelly is also stepmother to Brandon two children, daughter Savannah and son Seth.
