At this week’s explosive Married at First Sight Dinner Party, Danny is blindsided by wife Bec’s involvement in an ugly group chat.
“It was news to me,” Danny, 34, tells TV WEEK. “I knew that the girls were talking in a group chat, but I didn’t know what some of the messages were. It definitely threw me.”

The Victorian businessman had been aware of Bec’s ongoing tension with fellow bride Gia. But it wasn’t until the chaos of the Dinner Party that he realised how deep the feud ran: “It’s a rivalry for the ages.”
The confrontation comes after Gia accused Danny of hitting on her during an off-camera moment – allegations he has repeatedly denied and called the “worst part of the experiment” for him.

“I’d be lying if I said it didn’t affect mine and Bec’s relationship – it took a toll,” he recalls. “I think I was collateral damage in their feud. I think Gia said the comments to get at Bec without having to call her a name – it was actually quite smart.”
With loyalties shifting, Danny’s now caught in the crossfire of a heated rivalry.
