They’re a very unlikely couple indeed, but Mariah Carey has revealed just how she happened to meet billionaire boyfriend James Packer five months after going public with their relationship.
Talking to The Steve Harvey Show, the singer explained that the pair actually met a while ago.
“We first met in Aspen,” she said. “A couple of years ago we were at the Hercules premiere.
“We were talking and laughing and people were getting mad at us and stuff like that. So we hit it off!”
“Ain’t he lucky,” host Steve said. “I’m lucky too,” Mariah responded. “He really is great.”
Mariah and James have appeared at a handful of red carpet events since going public with their romance in June, and have also travelled to Sardina, Israel, Ibiza, and Australia together with Mariah’s four-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
