This year, the entire season of I’m A Celebrity Australia has been pre-recorded.
This means that for the second time in I’m A Celeb history (season seven was pre-recorded thanks to COVID!), there are a group of people who know who the winner is before the first episode even hits our TV screens.
While Channel 10 have probably gone to extreme lengths to keep the winner under wraps, we know these things very rarely remain a secret.
Here’s everything we know so far about who won I’m A Celeb 2026:
Why is I’m A Celeb 2026 pre-recorded?
Most of the 10 seasons of I’m A Celeb were filmed in real time, with what you saw on the TV each night being filmed within a few days of the episode going live.
This year, Channel 10 decided to film the entire season ahead of time.
According to Woman’s Day, the celebrities were flown to the African jungle in November and the whole production had wrapped up before Christmas.
“It’s a bubble,” a production insider notes. “Phones are gone, they’re under strict contracts and they’re surrounded by a crew that can swell to several hundred people when you include camera operators, medics and security.

“Once you’re in, you’re in until production lets you go.”
While Channel 10 haven’t commented on why they made this production decision, an insider told Woman’s Day having more time to work on the final episodes, has actually made it a “better experience” for the fans.
“The fact we had more time to work on what you see has paid off, and Network Ten are pumped for audiences to see it,” the insider said.
How does the finale work?
This year, the I’m A Celeb crew filmed three alternative endings with each of the top three contestants.
In the finale week, the voting process will remain the same and the audience will be able to vote for the celebrity they want to win out of the final three.
Once the voting has finished and the votes have been tallied, the winner will find out they’ve been crowned the King or Queen of the Jungle, alongside with the rest of Australia, when their pre-recorded ending airs.
Who won I’m A Celebrity 2026?

At this stage, only one of the 12 celebrities heading into the jungle have been confirmed.
This week, former NRL player and Bachelor Luke Bateman announced he was the ‘rugby league romeo’ Channel 10 had been teasing in their promos.
While Luke’s popularity puts him in a good position to get the public vote in the finale, there have been whispers about some of the other celebrities who could be making an appearance in Africa this season.
According to New Idea, it’s understood that Australian supermodel Rachael Finch and comedian Nath Valvo are among this year’s lineup.
Reportedly joining them will be singer Deni Hines, who gained a reputation for have fiery clashes with her co-stars on Celebrity Apprentice, and Tammy Hembrow’s ex-husband, Matt Zukowski, who also did a stint on Love Island.
