Sunrise presenter Edwina Bartholomew was certainly sparkling as she hit the TV WEEK Logies red carpet .
Edwina, 33, announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Neil Varcoe earlier this week and was wearing her engagement ring for its first red carpet outing.
“It’s made to look vintage, it’s art deco in style and he had it custom-made and he did very well,” Edwina says.
Neil even enlisted the help of the wardrobe department at Channel Seven to make sure it was the right fit.

“He had the girls from wardrobe pretend to measure my ring finger for the Logies tonight so he could get the right size,” she smiles.
“He was very sneaky and very clever.”
Of the special proposal at their rural NSW farm a few weeks ago, Edwina says it was “very simple and very lovely”.
“It was wonderful,” Edwina says.
“We’ve just been overwhelmed by the outpouring of beautiful messages from Sunrise viewers, from obviously our family and friends, and it’s been a really lovely couple of days since we made it public.”
Edwina plans to ensure their wedding is also a quiet affair.
“We’ve been together for six years and so we’re not in any hurry”, Edwina says.

“It will just be family and friends and something low-key. We’re not having 500 guests and a drumming band, it’s going to be pretty simple.”
She might not have to search too far for the perfect wedding dress though.
Edwina revealed at the Logies that she was wearing a gown from One Day Bridal, who had also created a few frocks for her hosting role on Dancing With The Stars.
“I’ve worn them before and they’re [One Day Bridal] very clever,” Edwina adds.
