The MTV Movie Awards celebrated the biggest blockbuster films from the past, all while drumming up excitement for the best flicks coming out this year.

Hosted by Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart, stars of Central Intelligence, the pair navigated a delightful ceremony.

Another year, another award ceremony. Last Sunday Hollywood came out for the 2016 MTV Awards. From Jessica Chastain, Emilia Clarke, Gigi Hadid and Charlize Theron – fashion was the word on everyone’s lips!

The awards were hosted by stars of Central Intelligence, Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart.

We don’t what we like more, Rebel Wilson taking our favourite Rafter, Hugh Sheridan OR the fact that she won Best Kiss with Adam DeVine… and they TOTALLY went for it [in all it’s glory/horror].

Ryan Reynolds made a brilliant speech upon winning his Golden Popcorn for Best Comedic Performance. “I want to thank my wife, Blake. Everything I do is to make her laugh. Especially the sex,” the Deadpool star joked.

He reminded the world that he know joins that ranks of : Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Harrison Ford, Jackie Chan, Jason Statham, Liam Neeson, Eric Roberts, Anthony Mackie and host Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Melissa McCarthy was honored as the first woman to ever win the Comedic Genius Award. The 45-year-old made her way to the stage in the most epic way possible… crowdsurfing across the audience!

“There are still some nuns in my old high school in Illinois who are still pretty surprised at the use of the word ‘genius’ with my name, but take that, Sister!,” she joked in her speech!
