Katrina Gorry’s little girl is definitely the cutest fan this FIFA Women’s World Cup has seen! The Matildas star has been proudly watched on by her daughter, Harper, and her partner, Clara Markstedt.
Katrina may make it look easy on the field but her life hasn’t always been as simple. The 31-year-old has always wanted kids but as a professional athlete, it’s not easy to plan around her career.
She had planned her pregnancy for 2021, but then when the Tokyo Olympics got pushed back due to COVID it almost ruined her plans. In early 2020, she moved to Europe to play for the Norwegian Football Club Avadlsnes and she decided the Olympics could wait.
After pulling out of the Olympics she made the call and started the IVF process straight away.

“In Norway, you tell them the main characteristics you want and they go out and choose your data for you and you never really find out [who the father is],” she explained.
After five days of injections, she had her egg retrieval surgery and soon enough she had her egg transferral. Soon after, Katrina was pregnant with baby Harper.
Gorry gave birth to her daughter on August 16, 2021, and returned to the Matildas the next year to get ready for the 2023 World Cup squad.
Katrina was previously signed to the Swedish football club Vittsjö GIK where she met her fellow teammate and now fiancée, Clara Markstedt.
The pair got engaged after 13 months of dating in June 2023.
Now, Harper is the best little supporter during the World Cup along with Tameka Yallop’s daughter Harley, cheering on their mums every step of the way.
