Just as her husband was untamable, wild and unique, so is the new object of her devotion. And it has helped finally lift her from the dark shadow of grief. After almost two years of anguish and loneliness, Terri has finally found real peace by throwing herself completely behind efforts to save the pristine wilderness on the Wenlock River in Queensland's wild Cape York Peninsula, which is threatened by mining. The 135,000 hectares of wilderness were bought with a $6 million grant from the Federal Government and named the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve, following his death...
