As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enter an exciting new chapter, they are making one thing crystal clear: when it comes to Archie and Lilibet, family always comes first.
While the Sussexes have long been fierce advocates for their own personal privacy, sources reveal that protecting their children’s safety and sense of normal life is an absolute dealbreaker, especially as they navigate their recent relocation to the UK.
“Meghan and Harry are extremely proactive about protecting their own right to privacy, everyone knows that, but when it comes to their kids it’s on a whole other level,” a Royal insider tells Woman’s Day.

As the kids gear up to start school, one of the biggest headlines that dominated the week was that parents at an ‘elite’ unnamed UK school received a ‘warning’ letter about not taking photos and videos of students, which many assumed was because of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex enrolling their kids at that establishment.
The source tells Woman’s Day, this wasn’t the case.
“Ironically the school that sent out this letter is apparently not the same one that the Sussexes actually chose,” they said. “Keep in mind there are hordes of famous people living in the Cotswolds, and the need for privacy extends to all families, not just Meghan and Harry.”
The fact that there are other high-profile families is something of a blessing for the famous pair.
“They find it gratifying that other institutions in the area have the same strict principles and regulations in check,” the source continued.

“That was front and centre in their thinking when it came time to select a school for Archie and Lili, it was crucial that they found somewhere that shared their own philosophy and respected their very specific needs. And by all accounts they’ve settled on a place that does just that, which is a great relief as they focus on building this new chapter of their lives.”
The source went on to say the couple are navigating the changes to their lives as best they can, and while it’s been a trying time, they’re excited for the future.
“Meghan and Harry have so much on their plate right now, the move has been hectic and the list of tasks and challenges is understandably all-consuming right now,” the insider said.
“But they’ve been at pains to put everything else further down the list in order to get the kids settled first. That’s been their number one priority. All nerves aside though, they’re very excited and confident they’ve made the correct choice.”
