As the Duke and Duchess of Sussex settle back into the UK, things have already gotten off to a questionable start.
From financial ruins rumours to constant speculation as to whether Prince Harry and Prince William will make amends, the couple are no doubt used to being headline news – but the interest is only growing as Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, get ready to start school in the UK.
It’s been widely reported that ahead of the kids’ first day, the other parents at the ‘elite’ unnamed UK school received a ‘warning’ letter about not taking photos and videos of students.

An insider told Woman’s Day the letter ruffled a few feathers, while also piquing people’s curiosity.
“This is a very elite group of parents who’ve seen A-listers – from the Cowells to the Beckhams – come and go, but getting up close and personal to the King’s mysterious grandkids is a new level of excitement,” the source spills.
“However there are some mums less than thrilled, wanting their kids to have as ‘normal’ an upbringing as possible. Instead the world’s spotlight is going to be on two of their classmates, so it’s a lot for young kids to adapt to.”
Meghan’s wish to improve ‘image’ as Princess Kate comparisons cast shadow
With the kids embarking on a new chapter, another Royal insider dishes Meghan Markle is also ready for a fresh start – and part of that includes changing people’s perceptions of her.
With Kate Middleton widely beloved in the UK and internationally, Meghan is said to be taking ‘big steps’ towards improving her image… and she’s studying Kate’s approach.
“Kate is famous for being this very down-to-earth mummy figure who blends in seamlessly with the other parents at her children’s school, and Meghan fully intends to do the same thing,” the insider says.
“It’s going to be a huge adjustment for the kids, so she wants to be there every step of the way as they acclimate, she won’t be deferring to nannies. That’s the way it was in Montecito, she was a very involved school mom and despite all the cruel rumors that she was disliked by the other mothers.”
While she’s ready for comparisons to Kate, Meghan is “more than happy” for people to see that she has a hands-on approach with her kids.
“Meghan has accepted [the comparisons] and says she’s more than happy for people to see just how hands on she is with her kids. In some ways, it should be easier for her than Kate because she can do it as an ordinary person without having to juggle royal duties alongside it,” the insider elaborated.
