Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex have returned to work in a big way, attending a number of events and engagements in New York City over the weekend.
The pair first arrived in NY on Thursday for a special meeting with the city’s mayor, Bill de Blasio, and Governor of New York State Kathy Hochul at the One World Trade Centre.
After that, their schedule was full of important meetings and highly anticipated appearances, but there are also a few details you may have missed.
From Meghan’s chic style, to new details about their daughter Lilibet, and an important message about the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Friday the Duke and Duchess visited Harlem’s PS 123 Mahalia Jackson school, where many of the students come from disadvantaged backgrounds.
There, Meghan sat and spoke with kids and read a copy of her picture book The Bench but it was the duchess’ outfit that caught most of the attention.
The Duchess of Sussex donned a chic burgundy Loro Piana coat and matching trousers, which cost around $8,000 and $2,300 respectively.
She paired the coordinated set with her favourite Manolo Blahnik suede pumps in a matching red hue, worth around $665.

(Getty)Since their royal exit last year, Meghan has been embracing styles that are less common for royals, including menswear-inspired outfits.
Meanwhile, Harry has been enjoying a more casual approach to fashion, dressing down in simple slacks and a sweater at the school.
While the Duke and Duchess were required to wear masks for the visit, they were spotted sharing hugs with the excited children before heading to their next engagement.
A sweet update on Lilibet
On Saturday the couple visited the United Nations in New York and met with UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed during an annual leaders’ summit.
Together, they spoke about the importance of the international goals of “climate action, women’s economic empowerment, youth engagement and mental wellbeing” according to a statement.
Meghan told reporters the meeting was “lovely” as she and Harry left, but it was a different reply that caught everyone’s attention.
The Duke and Duchess have chosen not to share photos of their daughter.
(Getty)While walking between engagements on Saturday a reporter called out to the couple to ask how their baby daughter Lilibet was doing.
Meghan’s response was short and sweet, the Duchess saying, “She’s beautiful.”
She and Harry have chosen not to share any photos of their daughter, who was born in June, with the public.
It’s believed that Lilibet and Archie remained at the family’s California home during the Duke and Duchess’ New York visit.
Taking a stand on COVID-19 vaccines
Harry and Meghan then headed to the Global Citizen Live festival, where they spoke out about vaccine equity at the 24-hour live-streamed charity event.
As co-chairs for the event, the Duke and Duchess’ attendance was much anticipated, as were their speeches.
“Are we prepared to do what is necessary to end this pandemic?” Harry asked the crowd.
Meghan added: “There is so much that we can do today, now, that can get us closer to ending this pandemic and that’s why we’re all here.”
The couple made a much-anticipated appearance at the Global Citizen Live festival.
(Getty)The pair went on to say that every person has a “fundamental right” to access the COVID-19 vaccine, but that’s “not happening” for a wide array of reasons.
“We’re battling more than the virus alone,” Harry continued.
“This is a battle of misinformation, bureaucracy, lack of transparency and lack of access, and above all, this is a human rights crisis.”
The crowd erupted with applause for the couple, who appeared alongside other big names supporting the event, including Billy Porter, Katie Holmes and Rachel Brosnahan.
Designed to raise money for a fairer distribution of coronavirus vaccines, the concert also included performances from Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Billie Eilish, Coldplay and more.
