Another day, another celebrity celebrating the upcoming arrival of their bound-to-be-famous spawn.
This time, it’s Desperate Housewives alum Eva Longoria Baston, who is believed to be due to give birth to her little boy later this month.
Like most first-time mums, 43-year-old Texan Eva can’t wait to meet her little guy – and for all the same reasons us parents anticipate meeting our own bundles of joy for the first time.
“I just can’t wait to see what his personality is like, what he looks like, how much hair he’s going to have,” she says. “There’s so much to look forward to, and it’s becoming more real every day.”
Eva, who married her now-husband Jose ‘Pepe’ Baston this time two years ago, threw an elaborate pyjama-party-style brunch at Hollywood’s Lombardi House and gathered her famed friends – Elizabeth Banks, Sophia Bush, Marisa Tomei and Melanie Griffith to name a few – to join her in photo-boothing the special occasion.

Not only were guests treated to hair-braiding and massages, but sources say the rose was “flowing”. And if guests didn’t like rose, they could’ve always swung by Eva’s custom-made Bloody Mary bar.
“So thankful for such a beautiful baby shower, definitely felt the love,” says Eva.
