Travel Guides favourite Michael Teng is trading hotel reviews for horror movie scares and is stepping away from the small screen for his first ever acting role.
Teng has landed a spot alongside Aussie horror icon John Jarratt in Wolf Creek: Legacy, the third instalment in the horror franchise, which is set to hit cinemas next year.

Michael Teng’s acting debut
It’s a far cry from rating resorts and reviewing destinations, but a source tells Woman’s Day that Teng is thrilled about his first foray into acting.
“This is Teng’s acting debut and to say he is excited would be an understatement,” our source says. “He’s absolutely buzzing about the opportunity and can’t wait for people to see another side of him”.
And with a role in one of Australia’s most iconic horror franchises, that “other side” is set to be a memorable one.
“He’s gone from reviewing hotels and holiday destinations to starring in a horror movie – talk about a career detour!”

What is Wolf Creek: Legacy about?
Wolf Creek: Legacy sees John Jarratt reprise his terrifying role as Mick Taylor, the outback killer who’s haunted Australian cinema screens since 2005.
This time, an American family on a dream trip to the outback catch his attention, with devastating consequences. The parents sacrifice themselves to save their children – but the kids soon find themselves alone, lost, and hunted through the unforgiving Australian wilderness.
Teng joins a stacked cast including Ditch Davey, Laura Gordon, Stacy Clausen, Charli Penton, Anni Finsterer, Meg Fraser, Carlos Sanson Jr, Maria Thattil, and Connor Pullinger.
