After both ending their tumultuous relationships on bad terms, our on-set source confirms that it was love at first sight for the two singletons.

“The minute Billy laid on eyes on Lauren, he had forgotten who Susie even was,” the spy dishes. “Lauren was super giddy, and was asking around, trying to find out more about Billy.”

The duo reportedly enjoyed each other’s company at the taping, and were even spotted exchanging numbers before leaving set.

And while Lauren was rumoured to originally have had a fling with farmer Mick Gould, NW revealed last week that it was more wishful thinking on his behalf, after their connection fizzled due to long-distance strains.

Since leaving the show, the disgruntled bride has made no secret that she’s regretted walking down the aisle for the reality juggernaut – especially after claiming the editing made her look like a “deadset nympho”.

“I’m so embarrassed to be associated with MAFS,” Lauren recently wrote on Facebook.

“This show destroys lives… People like Jessika, Daniel, Anus [sic], Martha and Susie will be hit by the Karma bus big time. I wish I did more than just go off at them at the reunion. And I hope to god Channel 9 and Endemol Shine pays for this.”

In an interview with Jackie O and Beau Ryan on KIISFM, Lauren came out swinging at the hit TV show that made her famous … and all without permission from Channel 9.

Defying their orders to stay mum, Lauren felt the need to bring justice to her reputation and give her side of the story.

“At the moment the public have only seen Matt’s side of the story. I feel like I deserve to say my side,” Lauren said. “I definitely looked like the bad guy in this relationship. I just want to clear all of this.”

One of the hottest topics to come out of the Loz/Matt storyline was the fact that Lauren “used to be a lesbian”. But now, the makeup artist wants to set the record straight.

“With the lesbian thing, I’m just going to clarify that,” she told Jackie and Beau.

“So initially my answer was, when I was about 18 to 20 I had a bad experience with a guy and I just hated men as a result. And so I dated only women. That’s what I said. That was it.

“My producer was like, ‘Fantastic. Great. However, we’re going to get you to re-enact that, say it again but use the word ‘lesbian’. I was like, ‘I am not okay with that. I do not want to use that word. I do not label myself as a lesbian’. It didn’t feel right.”

After being dumped by her former virgin husband, Matthew Bennett, the reality star had no issues savaging the series. Here’s hoping her romance with Billy makes Lauren’s post-show plight all worth it in the end!
