We’ve said it once, we’ll say it again (and probably a few more times in future) Matty J and Laura Byrne are one of our favourite celebrity couples.
Candid, hilarious and relatable, the couple fell in love on The Bachelor Australia, and we fell in love with them.
And, just when we thought we couldn’t be more obsessed, along came their daughter, Marlie-Mae.
After dating for a year-and-a-half, the couple announced they were expecting their first child just before Christmas of 2018.

(Image: Instagram)In April of the following year Matty and Laura jetted to Fiji for a babymoon where the ex-Bachelor would pop the question. Laura, of course, said “Yes”.
Just two months later, Marlie-Mae was born and she was exactly as Laura described her: a “divine little slice of human pudding.”
Matty and Laura’s candid approach to life carried over to parenting with some hilarious photos, even funnier videos and very relatable stories often making their way on to Instagram.
Personal favourites of ours include Laura hiring a babysitter for Marlie while hungover, and Matty accidentally forgetting Marlie-Mae’s name.

The couple quickly adjusted to new life as parents, although Matty admits he got eight hours sleep per night while Laura did not.
