If you thought that the dress Maya from Farmer Wants A Wife wore to the TV WEEK Logie Awards could double as a wedding dress, you’re not the only one.
Zac and Maya walked the Logies red carpet, and the loved-up duo spoke to TV Week, joking that the night could take a more romantic turn.
“It could [double up as a wedding dress],” Maya told TV WEEK on the red carpet about her Logies look. “It is white.”
“Just in case,” Zac added. “You never know how the night’s going to go!”
“Exactly!” Maya laughed.

Maya, who lives in Melbourne, is still on track with plans to move to Zac’s apple farm in the Adelaide Hills.
“Definitely, the move is in the works for us,” she says. “It will happen when it needs to happen, but we’re both very excited for it.”
“We’re getting there,” Zac adds. “It’s just all very hectic at the moment.”
Farmer Wants A Wife finished filming late last year, and by the time the reunion show was filmed in January, Alex and Eddy had already split. Since then, Jarrad and Brodie, Dylan and Ally, and Jason and Poppy have all ended their relationships.
So how do Zac and Maya feel about being the last couple standing from this season?
“I think it’s just one of those things,” Zac says. “We just focused on each other.”
“It’s obviously upsetting to hear that all the other farmers and their chosen ladies have ended,” Maya says, “but I guess it is such an intense environment, so we’re just very happy that we ended up being together and finding each other through this experience.”
“A hundred per cent,” Zac adds. “Couldn’t have said it better.”
So what is the TV WEEK Logie Awards like as a date for the duo?
“It’s definitely something maybe a little bit outside of our comfort zones,” Maya admits. “But we’re rocking it. We’re trying to rock it.
“There’s so many people, so many familiar faces.”
“Seeing them in person is so surreal,” Zac adds. “It’s ridiculous, because it’s like, ‘Why are we here, of all people?’ But here we are.”
