Beloved Today Extra host Sylvia Jeffreys has hit the 2026 TV WEEK Logie Awards red carpet with a very special addition – a baby bump!
The TV presenter, 40, stunned in a teal blue long-sleeved dress and proudly smiled just hours after announcing she’s due to welcome her third child.
“We knew the jig was up,” Sylvia explains to TV WEEK of announcing it hours before the TV WEEK Logie Awards red carpet.
“I wouldn’t be able to hide it anymore and there will be a surplus of champagne at the table if anyone needs some — I’ll be on the diet Coke! But our family is thrilled and so happy.”
Earlier on Sunday, August 16, Sylvia announced on Instagram that she and her husband, Peter Stefanovic, are welcoming a new addition.

The pair are already parents to two sons – Oscar, 6, and Henry, 5.
And it’s safe to say that Oscar and Henry are already proudly embracing their roles as big brothers – to a sister!
In an Instagram post, Sylvia wrote, “Oh baby… number 3 is on the way, and the boys are already taking their big bro duties seriously. Swipe for the moment Oscar told us it’s a … GIRL!
“We hope she digs footy merch, because there’ll be a lot of hand-me-downs. Jump on board, baby girl. It’s fun here. 🤍🎀”
Sylvia Jeffreys’ comments about motherhood
It’s a family Sylvia has been open about wanting to grow. Speaking to The Australian Women’s Weekly back in 2021, she reflected on the very different paths to her first two pregnancies – and hinted then that more children could be on the cards.
Oscar was a longed-for baby, conceived via IVF after a difficult journey that had Sylvia privately fearing she may never fall pregnant. Henry’s arrival, just over a year later, came as a complete surprise.
“The second time around it was… spontaneous, I’d say,” Sylvia said. “We hadn’t planned to go down that path so soon, but having had not an entirely easy path the first time around, you can’t be anything but thankful or grateful to have fallen pregnant this way.”
She also opened up about wanting her children to grow up surrounded by cousins, the way she and Pete had.
“Look, I’m no Octomom – we’re not going to pump out a dozen,” Sylvia joked. “But both Pete and I grew up really close to our cousins and aunts and uncles, and we’d like to replicate that for our children.”
