She might be one of the youngest cast members of Gogglebox Australia, but ask Bree to name her favourite show right now and you might get a surprise.
Sure, the 26-year-old from Sydney’s Shire is always up for everything new, but what’s her current go-to? It’s a series that’s been around since before she was born… 1990s comedy Friends!
“Friends has recently gone back on to Netflix and that is like my Holy Grail!” Bree tells TV WEEK.
“It’s been so nice to go back to that, rewatching such a familiar show. It’s my current fixation.”
However, her best friend Lainey is at the other end of the time scale.
“I’m really enjoying the new season of The Traitors at the moment,” she says.
“It’s super similar to a party game that I play with all my extended family called Mafia, so it’s really fun to watch a similar thing happening in a TV show.”
Jumping from a classic comedy to a contemporary reality mystery is a good indication of why Bree, her sister Mia, and Lainey, have become fan favourites since joining the Gogglebox family in 2024.
“The three of us are actually quite diverse in what we watch,” Lainey says.
“Between us we really balance out what we love. We find joy in it all.”
So, what are they looking forward to on screen? Of course, it’s a blend of the old and new — Big Brother.
“It’s my favourite reality show so I would really love for that to cross over with us so we could watch it,” Bree says.
And maybe crossover herself to be a contestant? That’s a question to get them disagreeing again.
“That would be my dream come true,” Bree says.
“That’s actually horrifying!” Lainey jumps in.
