Unfortunately, Farmer Bert’s journey searching for love on Farmer Wants A Wife 2024 has come to an end as he leaves early.
Balancing working on the farm and finding his ‘one’ was a challenge he no longer could face. After some contemplation, Bert told his remaining three potential suitors the race for his heart was over.
“I don’t have what it takes to be in a relationship right now. I don’t have the emotional time that people are deserving of,” Bert confessed to the FWAW camera crew.
“I’ve sacrificed a lot of my life and myself to run the farm. It’s a big job for one person, I miss out on relationships, I miss out on milestones in friends lives because the fruits not gonna pick itself.”
Tears in his eyes, Bert confessed this was “one of the hardest” decisions he has made.
“Now it’s sort of at the point where I don’t think I can give any of the girls a relationship they deserve. I need to tell them what I’m feeling – it’s going to be some tough conversations,” he added.
And tough conversations they were, particularly for Karli who wholeheartedly believed her connection with Bert would see her to the end.
Farmer Bert’s sudden exit from FWAW 2024 doesn’t come as a complete surprise to fans after sources exposed the dead end of his future romantic relationships to Yahoo Lifestyle.
“Bert is the next farmer to leave,” a source told the publication, but the reason behind his departure is “not because he finds a match like Farmer Dean did with Teegan.”
Reports spread that Bert left FWAW early after being “brought to tears due to the pressure of filming,” a source told Woman’s Day.
Additionally, Bert has admitted that he found the experience “incredibly tough.”
