It was a family affair for Cate Blanchett when she and her husband, Andrew Upton, took their four kids for a dip in Victoria's Peninsula Hot Springs recently.
The couple, who tied the knot in 1997, had their three doting sons Dashiell, 14, Roman, 12, and Ignatius, eight, on hand to look after 18-month old Edith as they splashed about in the hot springs.
Edith, who Andrew and Cate adopted in March 2015, looked to be loving the adventure with her family.
"We actually began the conversation a very long time ago, after our first son was born and he’s about to turn 14, and then we just had two other children and it sort of dropped off the radar," Cate reflected while speaking at the Women in the World’s Tina Brown panel in November of welcoming a fourth child into the fold.
"But I felt we had space, enough emotional room in our hearts and we’re privileged enough to have the capacity to have another child, so it wasn’t about biology," she added.
