The Block’s Hayden and Sara Vale have announced the arrival of a very special family member over the weekend – a bouncing baby boy!
The winners of the 2018 season took to their joint Instagram account to share the very special news with their fans on Sunday.
“Finally we have a little man with a name! Meet the newest edition to our family, Lawson Jett Vale born 26th April at a weight of 3.9kgs,” they captioned the post.
“Time to get the tool belt on buddy 🔨🔧 All of our hearts are so full and Harlow is the best big sister. 👨👩👧👦 “

Sara also posted a separate post on her own account with a gorgeous picture of her husband, Hayden, their first child – daughter Harlow and new bub, Lawson.

Back in October, the couple had double to celebrate after they were crowned the winners of the 2018 series of The Block.
The couple not only sold their apartment in The Gatwick for an incredible $3.01 million, they also announced they were expecting a baby boy.
Hayden, 45, and Sara, 31, said announcing their baby news helped to take away some of the nerves on auction day.
“It was big news for us to tell everyone about the baby, so that was exciting, but we were still nervous,” Hayden told TV Week in an exclusive interview.
“I was more nervous at the auction than I was at my wedding,” Sara also admitted.

Until their emotional reveal during the finale, Sara and Hayden Vale had kept their baby news top secret.
But while the couple had been keeping mum, their two-year-old wasn’t as discreet and almost blew the burgeoning family’s cover!
“We had a friend over and she told us she was pregnant,” Sara told Woman’s Day when she was 14 weeks into her second pregnancy.
“Harlow was like, ‘Baby, baby’ and started pointing at my stomach. She’s really excited to be a big sister.”

The pair always wanted another child, however had put their pregnancy plans on hold to take part in The Block.
After having a tough time falling pregnant with Harlow, they thought it would be equally difficult to conceive baby number two. But to their surprise they’d only been trying for a month when Sara fell pregnant.
“I was a little bit shocked that it happened that quickly,” Hayden revealed.
“There was a lot of practising last time. A lot. I was a little upset I didn’t get to practise a bit more!”
Proudly calling himself a hands-on dad, Hayden said the TV reno show more than prepared him for the craziness of having a second child.
“The Block was such hard work and so stressful, and the amount of sleep you missed out on was five times as much sleep deprivation,” he said. “So I think that looking after a baby is a piece of cake after that and I’m all for it!”
