It’s a recipe for disaster, in Island paradise no less!
After their on-screen romance went up in flames following the 2016 Bachelor finale, fans are questioning what Alex Nation and Richie Strahan were thinking joining the cast of Bachelor In Paradise season two together.
But while the potential for fireworks between the pair – who were spotted arriving in Fiji earlier this month to begin filming – are bound to be ratings gold, NW hears Richie may have another reason up his sleeve for agreeing to the reality reunion… good old-fashioned revenge!

“Richie was no doubt heartbroken when Alex moved on so quickly with Maegan [Luxa],” says an insider of the babe’s romance with her footy teammate, who she was snapped kissing in August 2017 – six months after she and Rich quietly split, according to reports.
“It’s crossed some people’s minds that he might hatch a plan to get back at Alex.”
And what better way to make her squirm than to steal her date right from under her nose?
“Richie and Alex will have no choice but to watch each other date around Paradise, and if he just so happens to like the same girl that Alex does, that’s going to make for a very interesting love triangle,” ponders the source.
Meanwhile, following their break-up Richie, 33, described his relationship with Alex, 27, as an “emotional rollercoaster” and it sounds like the pair – and viewers – are about to jump on for another ride.
The pair flew into Fiji earlier this month to commence filming for the season. Alex was spotted walking through Nadi International Airport pushing a trolley with several suitcases, giving the impression she might be hoping for a long stay in paradise.
Meanwhile, Richie Strahan arrived a few days later doing his best to go unnoticed as he made his way through the terminal.

It was first speculated the exes would be heading to paradise in October.
At the time, it was reported they didn’t know the other had signed on. But according to an insider, Alex had informed a friend that if Richie were to turn up, she “will walk out”.
