When you think royal fashion, our minds are likely to wander directly towards Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton.
But there’s another royal out there who’s been sneakily slaying the fashion-stakes one outfit at a time, and it’s time we all recognised it.
That’s right, we’re talking about none other than Camilla Parker-Bowles, aka the Duchess of Cornwall, aka Prince Charles’ very fashionable partner in crime.
Hear us out here – while Camilla has made some questionable fashion choices over her time, haven’t all the royals?
We’ll never forget Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie’s wild royal wedding hats. Nor shall we erase Kate Middleton’s younger brother James in those tartan pants from our memories any time soon.
And did you see Lady Amelia Windsor’s pink daisy-adorned dress from the royal wedding in May this year?
These examples alone are enough to convince us that when it comes to the royals, there’s fashion on all ends of the spectrum.
That’s why it’s beautifully refreshing to see Camilla, who is 71-years-old, rock an ageless ensemble with poise and grace, not to mention a touch of chic.

Camilla looked chic in white as she made an appearance at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London on July 15, 2020.
Camilla’s light blue embroided dress she wore in Germany this year might look nice enough, but there’s a very fashionable detail in here that you might have missed – those iconic Chanel heels!

As she attended a state banquet in Germany, Camilla wore a lovely floor-length white and blue printed dress – heavenly!
Earlier in 2019, the stylish royal was pictured wearing this gorgeous midnight blue gown with a stunning set of jewels to finish the look off. While she picked the fitting Olivier Awards as the occasion of choice, this wasn’t the first time we’ve seen Camilla in the beautiful gown, she also wore it to Charles’ 70th birthday celebrations at Buckingham Palace in 2018!
In May, Camilla and Charles hosted a garden party at Buckingham Palace on behalf of the Queen, and the Duchesses all-white ensemble was a refreshing start to summer.
And there they go again! Camilla and Kate Middleton are much alike in their liking for recycled outfits – or shoes in Camilla’s case!
They must be very comfortable shoes, she can’t get enough of them!
During a visit to Ireland earlier in the year, Camilla and Charles dressed up very flash for a glitzy soiree.
While visiting the Cayman Islands earlier this year, Camilla stepped out in a slew of summery, floaty looks that had heads turning.
And this pink get-up might have been our favourite of them all!
In 2018, Camilla attended a food market in a beautiful polka-dot dress that almost distracted us from the free-pouring drinks at hand!
And who could forget Camilla’s royal wedding ensemble for Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s big day? Pink perfection!
In 2017, the royal wore a statement polka dot dress for the Women of The Year Awards in London, and she pulled it off seamlessly.
And to finish with a flourish, our all time favourite look of all: Camilla’s layered white and cream dress worn for the wedding of Lady Charlotte Wellesley and Alejandro Santo in Spain, 2016. So chic!
