Surprise and romance are the order of the day at the couple’s restaurant…
When images of South Australian MKR star Lisa Gabel, 41,wearing a ring on her engagement finger re-surfaced last week, the rumour mill went into overdrive her boyfriend Stefano Guerra had popped the question! And now a source connected to the couple hints that they added serious fireworks to their instant restaurant by announcing some big news.
“No-one saw this coming. But they all thought it was brilliant, the best thing ever,” reveals the source. “It made her all flustered to have to cook for rest of night. It was truly a surprise. She didn’t seem to know anything about it.” Last week Channel Seven remained tight-lipped about the surprise, stating, “no comment”. Although Lisa’s ex-husband couldn’t confirm the news, he was thrilled at the prospect of Stefano, 32, joining the family.
“I can’t tell you what his cooking’s like, but he’s a good bloke,” joked Max, who has three children with Lisa. “He’s very thoughtful and respectful towards me and the children and I appreciate that greatly.” No doubt the whole family – along with the rest of the country – will be glued to the screen on Tuesday when Lisa and Stefano cook off for the chance to stay in the competition.
“I never miss it! I have been watching the show and enjoying it and while the show is on I text my oldest daughter,” Max says. Last year, several fellow MKR contenders attended Meghan and Andy’s wedding – so are this year’s contestants expecting an invite to the Lisa and Stefano’s nuptials? “I doubt it!” laughs feisty gatecrasher Sophia.
